@Jubilee, the next release is CoreCommerce is currently scheduled for October 2011. Once we complete the release, we will have a new blog post that reviews all the new features.

Are we going to see some of the design tokens we have been waiting for in this release?

only scheduled? no anymore new features? you add new features just when paid for it? The last 6 months you don't add new good features. When I ask for new features, you said write this features in community for voting. I wrote new ideas for new features, and still there with status peddling. This features have many votes, but still peddling.

Is there a scheduled release after that? Can we request that there be no non-critical updates after the October release until January?

Please, please, please do not do any new releases at this point. The holiday season is just around the corner and any unexpected results would be disasterous.

I'm just asking about the roadmap :) so no worries... by the way have you ever experienced something unexpected?

Yes. Packing slip printed in default format unexpectedly, Mobile site showing full version not mobile version, etc. Plus we have a custom design and CC doesn't verify changes on all custom designs before rolling them out and doesn't provide customers advance opportunity to test them on their custom design (even if CC created the custom design). Ultimately CC does not know if features they roll out will work with all existing customer sites.

That's why it would be good to have a roadmap with approximate dates of implementation/changes :)

Hey all,

We are in the process of doing a small release right now. This release is geared mostly toward bug fixes and shouldn't affect any critical store business logic. We'll post more details about it tomorrow. You'll be able to see these details on our blog. You'll also get a message about them in your admin area. We won't have any releases after this one until January.

Why can't we get information on the changes before they are implemented into production so that we can have a better sense of what they might impact and thus how much risk we might have and what we should be prepared to test after the roll out?

It's pretty clear that people want to know what's coming before it gets implemented. Not sure why you guys don't respond to that.
