Are CSD files backwards compatabile? I have been using v8 of Cricket Statz for a month or two and have reached the 6 match limit, but have a much older version on another hard drive, and wondered if they were backwards compatablie to earlier versions? I can't REALLY justify upgrading to the new one when I have something which fits the bill already, but it's going to be a real pain to have to re-enter everything again!

Hi Craig,

More modern versions of Cricket Statz will read CSD files that were generated all the way back to Cricket Statz V2.

However, files created by later versions cannot be loaded by earlier versions since they don't know about future database formats. So if you created a CSD file in V8 then you will not be able to load it into any of the earlier editions.
