Hello Guy,
I understand that you are having an issue with a false-positive detection. Usually, this works without problems and hence in order to assist further I need to take a closer look.
Therefore, please provide as much of the following information as possible and I will investigate:
- The extension id
- Which browser and operating system you are testing on, including version numbers
- The exact steps for reproducing the problem including the URL used to download the installer

Hello Guy,
Thanks for the additional info. I have forwarded the ticket to the AV team to investigate. -

Hello Guy,
The AV team investigated the issue and the issue is that you are using an older installer. I have rebuilt your installer, so please download a fresh copy (and replace the one on your site) and it should be fine.
Let me know if there are any further issues. -

I'm not sure what that means? "older installer"
I'm taking the installer from your cdn. -

Hello Guy,
When you download an installer, it's a self-contained EXE, and it's this EXE that you upload to your site.
Every so often we update our installers (in this instance to comply with the latest AV engines) but it does not affect the version you have on your site. Hence, to use the latest EXE you must download it again.
In general, it's probably a good idea to periodically update your installer to take advantage of the latest changes such as IE64 support. -

As I wrote before I didn't download any installer and used on my site, I'm using Crossrider Installer API, which I assume is taking the latest version from your storage.

Hello Guy,
Apologies, I didn't understand from your previous comments that you were using the API. Note that the API does not necessarily use the latest installer but rather a cached version in the CDN cloud. Periodically we recreate installers but this can be an extensive process and hence we cannot guarantee it occurs with every update to the installer.
I suggest that if you have issues like this in future, as a first step it's worth try to force an update for your particular extension by making a minor modification to the extension description which will them propagate throughout the CDN (usually within 1 hour) and hence the API. -
