I am trying to add crossrider plugin to addons.mozilla.org, when i upload file - validation is failed on the first step with errors:
1) Error: The element "updateURL" was found in the add-on's install.rdf file. It is not allowed in add-ons under the current configuration.
2) Error: The maximum version that was specified is not an acceptable version number for the Mozilla product that it corresponds with.
Version "30.*" isn't compatible with "firefox".
Please check the list of valid versions at: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire...
How can it can be resolved ?

Dzmitry,
This is going to be a long process with Mozilla as they have required more changes to be made which are not trivial!
Unfortunately this process can take a long time to implement (even a couple of months in the worse case), so I suggest to either check back then, or in any case I will update this thread when I will have news re this so will get an email update to your inbox. -

Hello Mark,
I'm afraid there isn't any further news to report on this issue at this time. -
-
Hey Guys.
Its been 8 months, is this on the roadmap?
Additionally what about this:

Hello Mark,
As mentioned previously, there is no further news at this time and when relevant information is available we will update the thread.
Regarding the Safari Store, you can try uploading your safariextz file ;-) -

I've replaced old extension on addons.mozilla.org with Crossrider's version. I had to make few fixes to .xpi file to pass the validation. But deep review on addons.mozilla.org takes a lot of time.

No, still waiting for a review (5 days already).
But the question was about validation - it's very simple to make fixes to pass validation. -

I figured as much.
Distribution of an app is key, and not being able to be in mozilla addons is crazy.

Hello Aleksey,
Thanks for the update. If it does pass, please let us know what you changed and we can look and making this the default for our XPI files for the benefit of others.-
As far, as I remember, I had to change max FF version to 25 (you have 30 in rdf) and to remove update url only. Besides, I've change the ID to match my previous addon.
It would be great if you could make an additional export page, same as for chrome store. -

The Add-ons Team has rejected my add-on, built with Crossrider. According to the given explanation, they are currently in talks with Crossrider Team regarding some required changes in Crossrider add-ons. Meanwhile moderator just removed my add-on from review queue.

So... any update?? Can we submit apps to the Firefox Marketplace which were built using Crossrider?
-
Currently, there are not further updates on this feature and uploading to the FF Marketplace is not supported.
