On March 20 Expedia changed the z-index attribute in their CSS. Our mashup extension's tutorial and fader did not appear. Labels were displayed randomly.
We want to find out if there is an easy to way to have a test run automatically (browser + extension) and send an alert.
I know services like pingdom, they work for websites, is there a similar service for extensions?
Can you please recommend something?

Hello Satish:
I know I know there are some developers who are attempting to use testing tools for their extensions with varying degrees of success, but we but we don't formally support them. You are welcome to try them and if successful share your experiences and success story with other Crossrider developers by writing a guest post for our blog. -

thanks. What testing tools are used now by the above developers to test their extensions now?

While not relevant to the original problem, here's my experience with including JS unit tests in the extension (I use Jasmine, but the idea is suitable for QUnit too): http://www.amaslo.com/2015/04/javascr...
Perhaps this will be useful for someone. -
