Feature request in the IDE - scroll memory
Have the editor remember your scroll location (height) in the document (in Edit Code) so when you change from document to document it returns to the position you were at instead of the top of the document. It's very annoying to have to scroll down to where you were every time you want to hop to your background script then come back to the main script.

Great idea!
We will add it to our roadmap and implement this.
Thanks for helping us making Crossrider better :) -

It would indeed be a very useful addition, I hope it does get implemented sooner rather than later (especially as my extension's source files continue to grow, and it is necessary to always switch to page / backrgound context from editing additional files in order for the other files to be pushed in the update).

It actually looks implemented now — great job, guys! (unless something went horribly wrong, and it works while it shouldn't... :D)

1Your wish was our command :)
We also added another small feature to the IDE: When clicking on the line number it will be adding a "break point" to your code (i.e By adding the keyword "debugger;" as a new line of code) -

Nice, need to try it! When I attepmted to add “debugger;” before by hand, it didn't seem to get into the extension code — I half expected you simply removed such things from the code, yet I didn't follow through and I guess I was wrong.
Thanks for adding these nice features, it is great! Now if only you had a way for several people to work on the same extension, and a source-control system integration... Yet I understand those are large features and can't be done quickly. -
-
We will work on implementing those as well :)
Thanks for your inputs! -
