When I try to install my extension on Firefox I point my user to
http://crossrider.com/download/73905
and the user is redirected to
http://download.dropopenobject.com/fi...
but 2 out of 3 DNS servers I tried cannot resolve download.dropopenobject.com. Is that an issue on your side? Can I add some parameters to the request to get the XPI from another location? Is this a temporary issue?
Can I host the XPI on my own server?
Thanks, regards
Maurizio

Hello Maurix,
Thank you for reporting the issue, we are looking into in.
In answer to your second question, you can certainly download the XPI and host it on your site. -

Is this issue being resolved? I am still getting install failures both on chrome and firefox. It seems the server is down. I also tried just going to dropopenobject.com and thats definitely down.

thanx Shlomo, its downloading now. only thing I noticed since installing. I'm getting another
error chrome-extension://jhegohiljdoklbdclhbkhacgdodcloai/popup.css Failed to load resource: net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND.
Im not sure if its just not updating before giving the file or its looking to the server. I think the two issues are connected, because prior to not being able to reinstall, this was actually working. -

looks like somehow that file got deleted. never mind. thanks for the help.

I am still getting
maurix@zion:~$ host download.dropopenobject.com
Host download.dropopenobject.com not found: 2(SERVFAIL)-
Try the URL in Firefox: http://crossrider.com/download/73905 (you may need to clear your browser cache first)
