Using Safari to click the generated Install App button doesn't result in any action. I'm aware that Safari is not supported (due to low market share), but it would be nice to get some kind of message back about "The browser you are using is not supported...."

Totally agree.
There should have been something for that. I guess it was forgotten with all the cool stuff in our roadmap. Will make sure it will be fixed soon.
