is crossrider a open source framework?

Crossrider is not an open source platform (although we do consider this path).

For open source projects and non-commercial extensions you can use Crossrider for free. For commercial extensions we suggest you to contact us at info [at] crossrider [dot] com for competitive pricing.

Is there any possibility of Crossrider becoming open sourced in the future? It seems like with such an active developer community clamoring for new features, the project could move forward (and in particular pick up niche features and improve compatibility) much more quickly if it used an open source model.

we are going to open parts of Crossrider to be open-source. Deelopers will be able to create their own "plugins" to extend the platform

In what language is crossrider made?
I mean extensions (ie, ff, chrome)
