So here's 3 small ideas that i know would save me a bit of time while building my extensions:
1. Making the place where you edit code not have a fixed position. On Firefox, when scrolling through my code using the track pad, the browser sometimes gets confused what to scroll, which results in the main page scrolling, but not my code. So I have to go click the scroll bar, and use that to scroll. Not a big deal, but I would actually save a significant amount of time not having to do that.
2. Remembering where you were scrolled to when you switch tabs (files to edit). I waste so much time switching between tabs and then having to scroll around trying to find where I was editing in a certain file. It would be great if when I switched tabs it automatically scrolled me back to where I was.
3. A new find feature. On mac I press cmd+f to search for a piece of code, and crossrider opens a confirm dialogue and finds the next instance of what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, if I'm looking for the 5th instance of a piece of code, for example, pressing cmd+f and retyping what I'm looking for 5 times is tedious. So a redesign of the find functionality would be great.
So that's it, just 3 quick suggestions that would actually save me, and probably many other developers a significant amount of time.
