upload files from debug page rather than create zip

Would it be possible to have a button on the debug page so that the files would be uploaded from localhost rather than having to zip and upload a package?

It's no biggie creating a package but it would be a time saver for syncing to production. Our 'production' cycles are quite short while we're releasing new versions for internal team testing.
