i created an app that has the remarkable functionality of alert('hello world'), but i am probably doing something wrong 'cause after i installed it i am not getting this alert (app #80)
btw,
i think that adding some javascript debugger can be a nice feature in the future + a guide to how-to develop my widget offline
as you'll probably bring many non-widget-creating-persona like myself to your wicked widgety-world

To follow up our our phone conversation, and for other developers with the same problem, I'll describe the issue Dor had and the solution/explanation.
After saving the app, Dor added the "hello world" alert to his App Code and then went back to a page and tried to refresh it.
The changes did not take affect as code changes on the Edit Dashboard are only taking place when the XPI / CRX are being updated or after 24hours (for App / Background code changes only).
What he needed to do was to Save his "hello world" app after the changes and then re-install the app to see the alert.
A better solution for that and a the way to develop you app and to see code changes as they happen, is to use Crossrider's Debug Mode.
You can read more about it in the Debug Mode tab on the Edit Panel or in our wiki at: http://crossrider.wiki.zoho.com/Debug... -
