Hello,
I notice that crossrider packages extensions with version jQuery version 1.4.2. This is causing me plenty of problems: jQuery before 1.5 doesn't have ajax deferred callbacks (done, fail, always) and before 1.7 you can't use on() and off() to bind event handlers.
Can we at least get a version of jQuery that isn't over 2 years old?
Thanks!

Hey Mike!
We do obviously have newer versions of jQuery available but as we as we don't want to upgrade people automatically with the new version (so we won't break backward compatibility) we are doing it manually at the moment.
Let me know which app ID you want me to enable for you jQuery version 1.7.1 (our latest supported version) and I will gladly do so.
Please note that its best for you to first add it to a "Staging/Testing App" of yours and then when you verify everything is in order only then add it to your Production App.
We are now working on a new site version which one of its features is doing the upgrade yourself as part of the new UI. -

Thanks for the fast reply. My app id is 3013. There is no production app yet, so no worries about breaking anything.
You are very helpful as always! -

Mike, I've added it to your app.
For your $jquery object to be in version 1.7.1 you will need to re-install your app's extension. -
