Spitzer is simply the best.

Eliot Spitzer is the best news program host in all of television. He's phenomenally knowledgeable, a terrific interviewer, radiantly interested in everything he talks about, and the only program host other than MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell who usually knows at least as much about the subjects he is covering than do his guest experts. Whereas other good program hosts have their strong points and their weak points (for example, O'Donnell is not a particularly good interviewer), only Spitzer is terrific on every aspect of this demanding job.

As to other program hosts, Cenk Uygur is probably the second-best all-around, but Rachel Maddow is very strong on her opening essays.

Current TV, after a rocky start, is already, in my opinion, the best cable-news channel. Congratulations, and thanks, from an appreciative viewer.
