Some response fields are not encoded as UTF-8

Hello,
I' m currently building a project using Daylife API. The documentation states that "All responses from the Daylife API return data in UTF-8 encoding." But during my experimentation I got results not encoded as UTF-8 at all. I used the following URL to retrieve data from the API :

http://freeapi.daylife.com/jsonrest/p...

The resulting JSON response is here: http://dpaste.org/Oyxu/

As you see one of the headlines contains '\u2014' and another one '\u2019' which are not UTF-8 encoded data but a Unicode Codepoint. I' m currently handling this situation in my project but I can' t be sure right now if all of the api calls will return headlines like this.

So am I missing something or is this gonna be fixed ?
