What if I find an incorrect caption on Daylife?

The captions on all the images on Daylife - like the images themselves - come to our site automatically through arrangements with three major image publishers (Getty, Reuters, and Associated Press). They're generally good about catching errors in their captions, but sometimes mistakes sneak through.

We cannot change the captions, as they - along with the images - are the property of the image's publisher. The best thing to do is to go to the image, see which provider it came from (this information will be on the page with the photo), and contact that publisher to make a correction.

These image publishers are usually very responsive when this kind of correction needs to be made.
