Hi there Deb.  Thanks for your message.

Cloudy water can be the result of a few different things:

    1. Make sure that the hot tub filtration system is set to normal mode.  Often homeowners, or dealers, will set the hot tub to economy mode.  This can result in insufficient filtration, leaving the water cloudy.
    2. You may need to shock the water more frequently.  Shocking the water gets rid of non-filterable waste in the water that can lead to cloudy water and foaming.
    3. Test your water to ensure it is properly balanced.  Unbalance water can promote cloudy water and may result in scale forming on surfaces and equipment.

The best course of action is to take a sample of your water (500ml-1L) to your Dazzle retailer for a full test.  They will be able to provide you with a personalized prescription to ensure the water is kept in proper balance and offer the appropriate solution to your cloudy water.

I hope this helps.  Please let us know if we can help further.
