DBAMP is hanging processes and making them wait

Can not kill process on SQL Server 2008R2 that are calling the DBAMP module. Processes are in a Wait Type of OLEDB and PREEPTIVE_OS_PIPEOPS and have been waiting for more than 3 hours. The DBAMP.EXE is running on the server by the user account that is executing these commands. There is nothing in the event viewer.

How to we kill these processes. When we try an kill the SPID, the session goes into a KILLED/ROLLBACK state. Should we just kill the DBAMP.EXE process on the server?
