DBAmp delta refresh job failed

Hi,

I am getting an Intermittent error when running delta refreshes. I can't see any alerts in the Windows logs or SQL Server. All I can see in the job history log is "The step failed."

Can you help?

  • The job duration was 06:17 min but the last entry in the log table was at 14:33:18 (so three minutes after the job started).

  • The job error output is truncated and we cannot see the entire message output.

Please modify the job step using the Advanced tab and write the job output to either a file or table. Then, when the job fails, send me the contents of the file or table so we can view the actual error message and provide analysis.

  • Hi Bill,

Ok, the job is now logging to a file and next time it happens, I'll send it over.

    Thank you

  • "SFDC_PROD" returned message "FAHttp::Send::WinHttpReceiveResponse Proxy Timeout ( The connection timed out. )".

It looks like your proxy / firewall timed out the connection to salesforce. I would ask your network group if there is an abandonment timeout in the proxy / firewall that needs to be increased. The salesforce server can take up to 20 mins to response to an api request.
