Error 5103 : FAHttp::Send::WinHttpReceiveResponse Server Error. Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 7303

Have been running salesforce upsert for months and all of sudden mid run this afternoon the logs show error.

OLE DB provider "DBAmp.DBAmp" for linked server "salesforce" returned message "Error 5103 : FAHttp::Send::WinHttpReceiveResponse Server Error".
Msg 7303, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Cannot initialize the data source object of OLE DB provider "DBAmp.DBAmp" for linked server "salesforce".

I get the same error when I try to manually test the SalesForce Link Server. The password or security token have not change since late April. I can open SalesForce web site on the server using that user account. Nothing has change with Proxy. The DBAMP Test logon fails with the same error.

We're on an older version 2.15.2, but not at a time to upgrade. Like I said before this has been running like a champ for months and then mid run this afternoon just stopped.

In the log
14:13:51: DBAmp Bulk Operations. V2.15.2 (c) Copyright 2006-2012 forceAmp.com LLC
14:13:51: Upserting Salesforce using OnTimeDelivery__c (SERVERNAME/DATABASENAME) .

14:21:09: Error: Batch error occurred with this set of rows.
14:21:09: FAHttp::Send::WinHttpReceiveResponse Server Error
14:21:09: Unspecified error

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

  • Something has changed with either the password or security token. My guess is that either your password expired or someone reset the security token.

Try to login to salesforce with the same user id and password from the linked server security page. If you are able to login successfully, then reset the security token and reenter the salesforce credentials on the linked server Security page. The security token is suffixed to the end of the password.

  • Well that did it. How in the world did it change?

    Last change was 4/30.
Anything gets changed to the account I get email.
Even now when I changed the security token I got the email.
    Very strange...

Anyway, thanks for the very quick response and spot on resolution.

  • I’m Surprised
    I'm experiencing the same issue.

All of a sudden, while running a stored procedure, about at 02:00 am last night appered this error.

I reset both Security Token and password, but testing the connection form the DBAmp Configuration program it doesn't work.

I tried to remotelly connect with Salesforce Data Loader and is working fine.

We're running DBAmp 2.14.7 and I hope don't have to upgrade it today.

What can I do more than this in order to let DBAmp work again?
