How to initialize sys_sfobjects on DBAmp

How is the sys_sfobjects table initially populated? If I've changed our security to intentionally limit access to objects that are part of our current integrations, is there a way to re-initialize sys_sfobjects back to include only those objects available to the current DBAmp profile?

  • All the sys_ tables are built dynamically. Every time you do a query against sys_sfobjects, we login to salesforce as the sf userid on the Security page of the linked server. We then ask the salesforce server for a list of all objects.

If you are seeing objects in the list that you think should not be there, then we need to open a case for you. Send me an email to support at forceamp.com with some details. 99% of the time the salesforce profile was not setup correctly.
