Is it possible to run concurrent dbamp sessions?

We have an Account table with 20 million rows. It takes about 18 hours to refresh. We are interested in running concurrent connections with DBAMP to reduce the refresh time.

Is there a recommended approach for this? Such as, modifying the sf_replicate procedure to generate a single _Previous table and split the replication criteria into two dbamp shell commands?

My understanding is Salesforce will allow three concurrent connections for a single user.
