Msg 50000, Level 16, State 1, Procedure SF_ReplicateLarge, Line 359

I am attempting to bring down a copy of the TASK object using SF_ReplicateLarge. The SFDC object has 16 Million records and is 30 GB.

INPUT:
Exec SF_Replicatelarge 'Salesforce','Task'

ERROR:
Msg 50000, Level 16, State 1, Procedure SF_ReplicateLarge, Line 359 --- Ending SF_ReplicateLarge. Operation FAILED.

LAST PORTION OF OUTPUT:
19:21:18: Run the DBAmp.exe program for "where Id>'00T8000002xsZx5EAE' and Id
--- Ending SF_ReplicateLarge. Operation FAILED.
Msg 50000, Level 16, State 1, Procedure SF_ReplicateLarge, Line 359
--- Ending SF_ReplicateLarge. Operation FAILED.

Can you please provide assistance to overcome this issue. I REALLY need this object up and running as it feeds other areas of production. Thanks.

  • "The Connection with the server was terminated abnormally"

This error occurs because your proxy/firewall terminated the connection between DBAmp and salesforce. All proxies/firewalls have a value called the TCP idle timeout.
Please ask your network group to modify the TCP Idle timeout for connections from this SQL Server to salesforce.

Your DBAmp installation is 2.18.3. The Sf_ReplicateLarge in your current version fetches data in batches of 250k.
The latest version of DBAmp allows you to specify a custom batch size to SF_ReplicateLarge. You can upgrade your DBAmp using instructions from http://forceamp.com/upgrade.htm

  • Thank you for your reply.

As directed, I downloaded the updated version of DBamp. I then executed the following line of code.

SF_ReplicateLarge 'SALESFORCE', 'Task', 50000 ( i tried with 100,000 first and it failed, then moved it back to 50,000 and it failed as well)

    Below is the result.

What else can I do to get this table back up and running?

  • Is the SF_ReplicatLarge run as part of a SQL job ?

If yes, Can you modify the step using the Advanced tab and check the option to log to a table. Then run the job again. After the job fails return to the Advanced tab and view the table.

Send us the complete output from the table.

  • I put the exec SF_ReplicateLarge into a SQL job. Below is a view of the error output. The process took a day and only copied 5Million of the 15 Million records. it seems like the TASK_Previous object is getting converted to TASK. When this happens the process doesn't know where to load the data.
