  • UPDATE dbo.Facility__c_Upsert

    INNER JOIN SALESFORCE...Facility__c f ON main.Emtrac_Facility_AutoID__c = f.Emtrac_Facility_AutoID__c

We have also verified that our timeout setting is set to 2400 seconds. The error message comes back within 5 seconds.

  • Would it be possible to upgrade your DBAMp installation to the latest version using the instructions at http://www.forceamp.com/upgrade.htm ?

The version you have installed does not give us a detailed enough error message to diagnose the error.

If an upgrade is not possible, then let me know and we will try to determine the root cause using another method.

  • We have upgraded to 2.16.8 and this is the error message we are now getting:

Cannot execute the query "SELECT "Tbl1004"."Id" "Col1014" FROM "Facility__c" "Tbl1004" WHERE "Tbl1004"."Emtrac_Facility_AutoID__c"=?" against OLE DB provider "DBAmp.DBAmp" for linked server "SALESFORCE". • Salesforce is rejecting your where clause as a valid where clause.

On salesforce, what is the field type for the Emtrac_Facility_AutoId__c field ? Perhaps it recently changed so make sure by logging into salesforce and going to Setup.

  • Sorry for the delay on getting back on this Bill. I checked the field and it is a number (18, 0) and the source that it is coming from is numeric(18,0). Here is the exact error we are getting as mentioned before.

Cannot execute the query "SELECT "Tbl1004"."Id" "Col1014" FROM "Facility__c" "Tbl1004" WHERE "Tbl1004"."Emtrac_Facility_AutoID__c"=?" against OLE DB provider "DBAmp.DBAmp" for linked server "SALESFORCE". • The salesforce server does not like that where clause value for that field.

Let's do a web meeting so I can take a closer look. Please send an email to support at forceamp.com with some times (including timezone) that would work for you.
