Salesforce Disabling SSL 3.0 Encryption
Is DBamp impacted by the recent announcement that they are disabling SSL 3.0 encryption.
-
-
DBAmp currently requests TLS 1.0 when communicating with the salesforce server.
There should be no impact on DBAmp.
After the sandbox instances are TLS only on Nov. 7, 2014, then I would run a quick test (as we will on our servers) to ensure there are no issues.
If you use a proxy/firewall firewall for DBAmp connections, check with your network group and make sure that TLS 1.0 SSL connections are not altered by the firewall. -

Initial testing with the sandbox orgs shows no issues.
DBAmp uses TLS 1.0. -
