sf_refresh escalation

Hello - I am trying to clarify if sf_refresh would get escalated to sf_replicate automatically if there is an excessive number of rows to be refreshed - say 90% percent of a 400,000 row table.

If not does the sf_refresh simply give up with that sort of volume?

  • SF_Refresh does not have code to support the escalation you mention.

Currently, the way the proc is written, it does not know how many rows have changed until after it has fetched them. At that point, there is no point in flipping over and doing a sf_replicate because you already have the rows.

As always, you can take our procs as a starting point and modify them to add any additional functionality you want.
