SF_Replicate and SF_Refresh failed on Contact

SF_Replicate/SF_Refresh contact failed with the error listed below:
Error: System.InvalidOperationException: The given value of type String from the data source cannot be converted to type nvarchar of the specified target column. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: String or binary data would be truncated.
We removed field level permission of Contact formula fields from the service account used by Dbamp and were able to do Replicate Contact.
This is the first time we encounter such error with Replicate or Refresh. We noticed some formula fields in SQL server have nvarchar(255) while other nvarchar(1300) or nvarchar(2600). How does DBAmp determine the formula size? If the column originally is set to varchar(255) in SQL table but the value in the Salesforce formula field exceeds 255 in length, will Dbamp automatically expand column size to 1300 or larger?
The version we use is 3.6.6.

Thank you!
