Balance
• Reduced minimum cost of speed ups to 5 fuel from 15 fuel
• Reduced injury recovery times by 66%
• Made finding Fuel 25% easier
• Increased the likelihood of finding food on missions
• Reduced the likelihood of finding water on missions
• Changed level of infected during compound attacks to be an average of survivor levels

Weapon Balance
• Changed the way weapon damage increases to make them more competitive with equivalent level weapons
• Increased range of Improvised SMG
• Decreased range of AR556 slightly
• Changed the minimum and maximum levels of a number of weapons

Fixes
• Fixed non-searchable search spots in a number of scenes
• Fixed Convenience Store location image
• Fixed Golden AK skin
• Fixed Facebook share descriptions
• Fixed a number of "flickering" models

No, no crafting yet. It'll be a little while yet. Most of our week has been dealing with sorting out things on the backend.

Personally, I'd like travel times reduced, I was discouraged by the thought of waiting 35 minutes to go out and get weapons, then I was attacked by a lvl 6 horde with nothing to defend myself but lvl 1 manning .22's. I understand quite well you need to make money, but please make it a bit more lenient.

I dislike the idea of 2 hour missions for a lvl 14 area. I can understand the build times but i cant grasp the huge times on travel.

it honestly amazes me how much people get mad about travel times. You're not supposed to sit there and watch the timer tick down. That's not the kind of game this is. Surely you've played a realtime game before? Urban Dead, some other facebook game...something? You go and do something else, and you come back. 35 minutes is really not that long. Make a sandwich, read a blog post, and you're done.

Actually no this is the first time for me. I have no idea what urban dead is, also I normally don't play Facebook games. I am playing this one since I wanted to help beta test.

Also since i have more people now than yesterday I do one large 2 - 3 hour mission. and have my other guys do resource runs while i wait. That way I can play now and still get the benefit of better items and quicker levels.

hmh..reduced recovery times by 66% ?
seems to me like they have increased by several hundred %..
seriously.. my leader was so close to the exit grid that i actually though he was standing on it ..and got a recovery time about hour and a half or so.. leader being a lvl 10 and mission being a lvl 3 i though he would be up and running in a few minutes
kinda makes me wonder how is this calculated

That's why I always check to make sure everyone's got the green check marks before time runs out...or I do now anyway after forgetting to a couple of times. lol

Something might've gone wrong there Maros - checking it now.

Injury times are relative to your survivor's level, not the area level.

Looks like it might not be getting the new value - injury time at level 10 should only be around 40 mins.

anyway...shouldnt this be the one thing relative to the zone instead of the survivors lvl?
if a baby bites you wont really feel it.. if a bad angry zombified corpsi eats your brains out ..now thats what hurts...

on a side note.. did you do something to improve the game speed? seems to me like the game is just badly laggy instead of teribbly lagy (yep..now thats an improvment :D)

There was some optimisations with regards to the buildings code, that's the only significant change I can think of.

If the game is running badly, you should check the link here and see if your video card is supported and you have up to date drivers. http://deadzonegame.com/help

@Maroš: In regard to your game lag, (in addition to what Con recommended) you may want to check out the troubleshooting tips on my (unofficial) FAQ linked below. In particular the step regarding Flash hardware acceleration. It has solved a number of players lag issues so hopefully it can help with yours, too. :)

Side note, if recovery time's were reduced by nearly 66% your telling me my lvl 13 character should be down for about 4 hours before this change over?

I would assume that its not 66% across the board but 66% on average (based on whatever their formula is)...but then again I know what assuming gets me. lol.

Not sure what you mean, Shadow...(not being flip, really not sure what you mean).

As you may have noticed, Con mentioned (above) that recovery times are based on player level so maybe your guys are just too strong for their own good. :P

If the travel times where reduced, the players would play the game for a longer period of time a day rather than sending survivours on missions that take 4-5 hours return time. and then comming back later if even. Just a point to take under concideration as these times can get a wee bit rediculous.

I agree with you to a point but you also have to remember that this game is still in beta and the amount of content is limited. If the "wait" times were reduced too much then everyone would max out and the usefulness of the beta (to Con Artist) would be minimal.

I would assume that wait times will continue to be tweaked both as Con Artist adds content and as they assess players' level progression.

Ditto but Con has stated that crafting will not be released until after the launch of the game so its going to be awhile. I try to console myself with the knowledge that they aren't going to do a beta wipe so once the launch happens, I'll have the supplies to be a crafting fool! :-D

Fairly large IMO in that we have levels fully upgraded stuff and people to run missions like crazy for materials. Might be a limited to 1 item a day tho to compensate for that.

I guess it really depends on what other content Con Artists pushes out with crafting. If they add other requirements that don't exist yet, it may still take awhile for us beta testers to get crafting really humming but regardless we'll have an advantage for awhile.

Perhaps failure percentages?
You know, that way the lvl of the engineer would be taken into account for the success chance, high lvl engineer = better chance of crafting a weapon.

i found the food-water rebalancing very useful, now i find almost always the same amount of them. can you also do the ''recycle all" button as soon as you can? its a very easy code to write (just a "for" cycle i think) and it can save hundreds of minutes!

I still get more water that food, but I guess you really can't tell how much food and water you can get in a zombie apocalypse.

I have never found fuel as far as I know. There would have ben a happy praise post extoling the "EXTRA awsomness of the game now that I am able to loot fuel" if I had.

I'm running level 16 areas as often as I can.

We're not tracking found fuel separately at the moment it turns out, so I can't tell what's been found through removing junk piles and what's been found on missions. Will have the tracking changed and check back in a few days.

Is there any way you can decrease the amount of cloth you get and what not? The over abundance of cloth is causing me troubles because I don't want to waist any items from the junk in my compound. So Im having difficulties getting Wood and metal scrap.
