  • I would love to see the Ak-47, i'm tired of shooting 5.54. More pistols would be nice, unique ones such as Five-seveN, or the PMR 30.
Also would love to see the M6A2, you never see that gun anywhere and its actually a really unique weapon. And I don't believe the StG 45 was ever mass produced, but its plans were used to make the G3.

    • Robin, everyone knows that the better equipped army has a huge advantage. An war isn't one by one thing. It's not just logistics and strategy, nor is it just gear. But face it, without gear, you can't get from point a to point b, and without tactics, gear is just a useless tool. Personally, a wider array of specialized weapons would be awesome.
    • The 6.8 is a new round. Every army on the planet has a large supply of the round that their assault rifle uses already stored up. And those armies have crates designed with the shape of their current guns and magazines and boxes that the rounds come in. Their combat equipment such as load bearing vest, web gear type systems, etc, etc. are built around the size and shape of their current magazines.
Their ammo consumption projections, and therefore planning are based around the current round.
Training methods are based around the current weapon and ammo. Tactics are based around the round being used.
Heck even the paper work they have is based around it.

SO in addition to having to buy new bullets, they have to get rid of the old ones, to make room. And then every feature I mentioned above would have to be bought, and the old ones disposed of.

Switching to a radically new round is why the 6.8 isn't being used by more militarys.
It would be a big fat expensive hassle.

  • There is already a TAR-21 or the Tavor...it is the fa-223 in the fuel post...
    But I love the FA-MAS,
I also want to request this following weapons:

    1.L96A1 AWM sniper rifle
May it can have a decent damage but low attack speed,

2.M82A1 .50 cal Barett Sniper Rifle
May it can a very high damage, mediocre attack speed but very high noise....

    3.FN SCAR
Good damage and accuracy but medium attack speed

    4.A RPG Launcher???
AOE damage of course and also can 1 hit knock out zombies of course but a very slow reload...^^

    Well that my comments,
Sorry again for my bad English...xD
    • RPG Launchers don't work that way. If you were to use them as an anti infantry weapon, you would probably only get one. And if the charge went off, then it would only hit enemies behind them in a conical pattern. Also, the Back Blast would probably kill anyone behind you. Most have a minimum arming distance of around 10-20 metres.

I do like the idea of AOE weapons, however you have to consider Friendly Fire, and realism factors for Indoors.
    • Ding Ding Ding!!!! When I saw RPG I heard my old Drill Sergeant in my head screaming your forgot to check your blast area! Back Blast Area Clear!!!!!!

  • I know more content will come when the game goes live but I would love to equip a Steyr AUG scoped on my main and Recons, M60 or M240B on the Fighters, MP5 Navy or a 1911 on my Medic and Glock 19's Improvised to Full Auto with Drum clips on my Engineers..... XD.
I am a casual player so I might not be as high in level as some of you so if these guns exist in the game be nice when you correct me I will find out eventually. 1911's are pretty popular so i am sure they are in here already anyways.

  • Slow down guys. You want more guns? Play JA2 1.13. You will get more guns you will ever need.

Some unique guns with custom looks for flavor? Sure.
Shitloads of guns with barely noticeable difference? Spare me.

In the end it will be one(two, three) gun, that owns them all. Atm SAW and M24 are top-notch and there is no real point in using any other guns (unless you ahev unspecialised class. but even with that in mind SAW > all pistos, shotguns AND smg's).

Not to mention it will increase load times (probably not much, but still).

    • My argument is valid, you are being pedantic in an effort to avoid admitting you are wrong.

      1) Foreign also can mean " exotic, not commonly seen or available,"
Which both of those guns certainly are in America.
2)Your counter examples are all Red herrings. The Kalashnikovs are *COMMON* weapons, in their civilian versions one or the other of them can be found in almost every one of the millions of hardware stores in big and small towns in America that sell fire arms. ( And full auto conversion kits or plans are cheap and commonly available) The Spas-12 is 33 years and has been available in the civilian version the entire time. It is so common that it is the generic image that most people, and most game companies, have in their mind for "Semi-auto shotgun" Once again a weapon widely available and common to the United states. (and the one in the game is a SPAS-15, not-12) The H&K MP-5 series of SMGs has been the premier family of such guns for decades, in both military, police and civilian usage in western civilization for an entire generation. The UMP-45 is just the same weapon in .45acp. It is easily recognizable and both widely and deeply spread across America. The UZI is 58 years old and was the most commonly seen and used SMG and "carbine" until usurped by the MP5 line. Both it and the MP-5 have been issued to hundreds of thousands of Law enforcement, and security agancies in the USA, as well as both being adopted by Paramilitary forces, and our own armed forces.

3)And really your bringing up of the SAW is laughable. the M-249 has been adopted by by the US Army and US Marine Corp since 1985. ( So it's been standard issue for what twice as long as you have been alive) It has been used in every conflict America has been in since then. American's have been bombarded with images of it. It isn't the least bit exotic. And it is manufactured at the FN factory in Columbia, South Carolina. The P-90 isn't manufactured in the US, hasn't been adopted by line infantry, and hasn't been shown on the nightly news and in movies being used by American soldiers for almost three decades.

      4) None of what you said address the fact that your citation was weak, and following it to it's source actually bolstered the case *AGAINST * your position.

If you want to talk suggestions: I suggest you do your research rather than trying to weasel your way with pedantic attacks, next time you try to disagree with someone who has done their research.
Especially in a language that isn't your native language.
    • .... well, if all you're going to do is launch ill-informed insults, then I suppose there's no point in further arguments. However, as you hold some grave misconceptions on what I meant, which is likely due to your affliction with dyslexia, which you have mentioned long ago, I will answer your points this time.

      1) I had already covered this in my last paragraph of my previous response to you:
"If you meant it as "not available in great numbers", then no, I would not claim your reasoning is invalid, but I would suggest using more appropriate terminology to avoid further misconceptions."

      2) My examples were for the possibility that you had meant it in its most commonly used meaning, which you did not, therefore they are invalid. However, you have decided it was a pedantic attack on your arguments based on the meaning you have given it in your first point, despite my clear statement:
"[If] (emphasis added) by foreign, you mean exactly "of, pertaining to, or derived from another country or nation; not native"
      a) Also, I must point out that the SPAS-15 does not possess the folding stock the Tactical Shotgun shares with the SPAS-12, nor does it have the same appearance. The only commonality the SPAS-15 has with the Tactical Shotgun, aside from being a semi-automatic shotgun, is that it has a box magazine.
      b) Strictly speaking, the UMP series is a different series meant to succeed the MP5. It may share design features and considerations with the MP5, but it is not a MP5 rechambered for .45 caliber rounds.

      3) It is still based on a Belgian design, which is why I brought it up in relation to the possible meaning stated above. However, I have said nothing about the P90 being equivalent to the M249 in availability, but was simply pointing out that they originated from the same company.

      4) And I have stated before that I was merely pointing out that it is in use by some organizations in the United States, which you have apparently ignored. I have never held the position that the P90 is a commonly available weapon in the United States.

If you want people to properly discuss these things with you, flying off the handle and resorting to insults based on incorrect assumptions, as you have been doing in each of our previous arguments, is the worst way of going about it.

  • AK47 is almost like AK74, which is almost like RK62, which is almost like ... And so on. The only big difference is the appearance (and in this example 95% of internet users can't even distinguish them from each other. Every single one of them is AK47 to them). No, I think we don't really need all the guns in the world. We need something what gives new depth and usefulness.

Flamethrower would be such a weapon. As would grenades or improvised explosives. And of course minigun (according to wikia it's already in development). Also improvised weapons with unique effects (not just single-action pistols/rifles). Fallout 3 junk thrower is a good example of uniqueness, and truly something you can call improvised.

More creativity, less geardo. That's my two cents.

  • Desert Eagle.
    Scar Heavy/Light.
    Glock.
and what happened to the sawn off shotgun? i dont have any of those.
    • The Desert Eagle (or something that heavily resembles it) is available in the Fuel Trading Post as the Manning High Power .50.

Which Glock do you mean? The 17 (9mm pistol) and 18 (9mm machine pistol, Fuel Trading Post only) models are already in-game.

Sawn off is a condition for shotguns now, and a bad one at that. Drops accuracy by 5%, no bonuses.

  • Maybe there could be a category as mini-guns OR heavy machine guns??
Con can create a few weapons without a certain reference too!!!
Like there could be a LMG (Or Heavy) That is fed with a box like magazine (that is larger, of course) And that looks light-greenish-white. And surpasses the other machine gun. And they can use medium machine guns too in this game!!
Maybe the weapons in the trading post can come back but at later levels (level 23+) Just that the ones sold at the outpost will be the earlier level weapons, but can be sold in later level versions.

  • Ah the flamethrower... if only it didn't need fuel to work XD.

I see more in a propane powered flamethrower. Or that weird crossbow thing that was in the survival kit.

    as for heavy machine guns.

You try walking around al day with this in your hands.

They would do for base defence. as you'd assign someone to a fixed turret, but finding one of these in union city would be a pain in the behind (let alone getting it to your compound).

it would even be a problem with medium machine guns (MMG) which is forgoten often by people.
