Hello all,
Anyone know how to add friends when all your contacts are on an exchange server and none are local? I can see my contacts in my address book but when I want to add a friend to my shelves I think it only looks at the local contacts and I get a 0 card to choose from.
Or is there any way to add a friend without an existing contact? I don't want to use the other shelve feature because it does not allow me to show an item as being out when i lend it.

To add a friend who isn't in your address book, click the "+" button at the bottom left corner of the application window and select "Friend" then "New Person." Fill in the information and you're all set!Comment -

Hi Lia, thanks for your reply but I had done that already. The procedure you describe ends up creating a contact in the local address book. It's what I'm trying to avoid, i.e. not have to create my contacts twice but use my existing contacts that are in exchange. Is there a way to do that? If not, any plans on adding this feature?
