Custom shelf themes...do they exist anymore?
Is there a way to create custom shelf themes anymore? I remember when DL was first released I created a shelf theme for a contest, but I can't find any reference to using custom themes anymore.

Even if it's not possible to create a custom theme, you can modify one of the two existing themes.
I just modified the "Library Shelves" Theme to translate it in French (text, footer, title and "Library" image)
You can find the templates in "Applications" / Right Click on "Delicious Library 2" then "Show Package Contents" / Contents / Resources / Templates / Right Click on the Template you want to modify then "Show Package Contents" -

wanting to be in love with it!
I am on the edge of purchasing this product but what's turning me off is the cheesy wood look of the shelves! Uggh! (This might be silly, but I'm a graphic designer and the way things look is a big deal with me). I'm with other users in that it would be nice to have some different themes to choose from, or at least a plain colored shelf option or something that looks like the Mac's Cover Flow.
It's a good program but really needs to have that "wow factor" in the looks department. :) -

I agree, but not just for looks; I'd like to be able to increase the size of the text in the details tab -- it's way too small for me. I can't find ANY way to increase the size of the text. Selecting it and going to FONTS does nothing.
Zematbou's idea is great but apparently only works for the published (HTML, iWeb) versions. -

OK. I have to put my 2 cents in. I have been a user of DL since it was first available and I love this program but... the look of the new interface is really cheesy ugly. It's not even ugly amusing, crown molding... ugh!!!!
I downloaded it thinking that I would at least be able to swap in a plain/simple skin to avoid having to look at it but you are telling me that that is not the case.
Really, there should at least be a way of making it look like the DL2 UI.
Please, please give users the option not to look at that wooden molding. Please.-
