DL3 keeps asking for access to my iTunes music to show cover art
Every time I open DL3, it requests access to my iTunes Music folder to show cover art. Which folder should I *specifically* point it to? My iTunes media is on an external hard drive and DL3 is confused about where to look. This is on a late 2012 iMac running 10.8.4 with iTunes 11.04. Media folder path is shown in attached screen shot.

Sorry about the hassle, there are some bugs and user interface annoyances around Apple's application sandbox technology.
Which folder comes up in the open panel? If you choose the MyBook drive, does cover art display? -

The iTunes folder in my Home folder is an alias that points to the iTunes folder in the Shared User folder. DL3 points to this Shared User folder. Even if I confirm this location or choose the MyBook drive, the cover art still does not load. None of my iTunes folders are in the expected locations, so I'm hoping that by knowing where DL3 really needs its information from, I can navigate there directly.

Similar problem. New user. New owner. I've heard great things over the years...
DL = v3.1.2. iTunes Library path = /Volumes/Mx-80/Music/iTunes/
I let it churn away for hours and no entries or artwork ever appeared.
I ended up creating an alias and put it inside my internal home directory. It points to my external iTunes folder (~/Music/iTunes alias). I quit DL3, removed the folder ~/Library/Containers/com.delicious-monster.library3, relaunched DL3, and turned on iTunes viewing. I have all of my iTunes library (I think) but only about 1 percent artwork. -

I can't turn on my iTune

Same question--which folder, specifically, is DL3 looking for? The window defaults to the Documents folder, but it doesn't show cover art when I select that one. When I navigate to the Music folder, or to Music/iTunes/, it also doesn't show the cover art. Using DL3 3.1.4.
