Is there a way to add cover art to an item by pasting an image from the clipboard?
Most of the time the cover art I find online needs to be cropped before I can use it. Right now this means I have to copy the relevant portion of the image, save it as a file and then drag that file onto the item in Delicious Library to add the cover art. This is a pretty tedious process -- it would be much easier if I could just copy the relevant portion of the image and then paste it directly onto my item in Delicious Library (this is how I handle this for iTunes). Is there any way to add covert art to an item using an image in the clipboard rather than dragging and dropping an image?

I completely agree about this; copy and paste should work for images. I filed a "Feature Idea" (Case 49699) for this in July, and I recommend you re-post this in the "Idea" section of Get Satisfaction, so it can get tracked as a feature request here, too.

Nick and Hutson-- just wanted to let you know that I've heard your requests =) We'll see what we can do.

Thanks for checking in; this isn't a deal-breaking feature for me (I am obviously a very happy user overall), but I'm happy to know this little request isn't forgotten...

I didn't have that problem. I found the cover art on google and justed copied the image and dropped it on to the blank cover. All of the ones I did sized to fit the cover. I also tried it using the Grab app and I had the same result, don't know if this helps?

odd. copy and paste used to work in v1 in the pop-up artwork window, which seems to be no more...
