Is there a way to get DL3 to work on OS X 10.7?
I just don't think my 5 year old Macbook can handle 10.8 and I really want to be able to use the new iOS app to catalog my items. I've been using DL2 to keep track of movies and find it extremely helpful when deciding what to watch.

We wish there were, obviously we hate excluding you. Although 10.7 does have an early version of Scene Kit (Apple’s 3D library) in it, it isn’t getting bug fixes that we need—Delicious Library 3 actually doesn’t just require 10.8, it requires 10.8.3, because there are fixes in Scene Kit just for us.
There would be other features from 10.8 that we couldn’t use, but we might be able to work around those. Although that would create something of a support problem for us, since we’d have to clearly mark on our website what you won’t get in 10.7 vs. the 10.8 version, and moving forward we’d have to find workarounds to bugs in 10.7 since it’s not under active development.
