Is there a way to remotely (and instantly) update the library (and check amazon prices) with a bluetooth scanner and an ipod touch?

Is there a way to use a bluetooth scanner and a bluetooth enabled ipod touch to import new items when not attached to the host computer, and if in a wifi hotspot, be able to access amazon, instantly on the ipod?

No, unfortunately, the scanner has to be synced to a computer, not an iPhone or iPod.
