I bought Delicious Library 2 in 2011, from the website (note AppStore). I see there is no discounted price for those giving money directly to Delicious rather than through the AppStore. Because of this I'm kind of balking at upgrading. I don't use the application very much. I have some stuff in there, and it is nice to have a catalog of my books and some other items, but it isn't actively part of my life. My question is, what is there in v3 worth my $25.00 that is not in v2? I can't find a very good run-down of the big differences between the two releases.

P.S. I don't want to discount the product, or the work that went into V3, I just can't find any communication about what new features are in it so I can decide if I want to upgrade at this point.

I honestly can't see anything here that's significantly important to justify re-buying the application. If you offer an upgrade discount, I'll consider it, but things I'd really have liked--like the ability to add my own fields, or to specify a sort name (similar to iTunes) don't appear to be on this list.-
If you'd prefer not to upgrade that's fine. We will not completely ignore DL2 or those users.

Several useful features of V2 have disappeared from V3. Definitely do the trial before spending money for the upgrade. Despite some of the functionality returning, I still prefer V2 to V3, and regret upgrading.-
