3rd set of dentures for first time user

I am currently on my 3rd set of dentures.  The first two were a nightmare sliding all over my mouth unable to wear.  I waited a couple years and got the 3rd set.  I feel like the top is still too large , unless I wear adhesive.  Is this normal?? I know the bottoms never fit exactly.  Still better than the first two sets.  At least I can actually wear these, to a point.

Tammy no it is not normal. I have never had to put adhesive in my top denture. Your top densure should fit like a glove. Nice and tight and snug. If there loose and moving on you they are to big. Your upper gums have a natural suction so when you put your upper plate in or take it out you should beable to feel that suction. Exspecially if they fit properly. Unfortunately you need to take them back and let them know whats going on. DONT SETTLE for anything thats NOT PERFECT. Anything you spend your hard earned money on should be PERFECT.
