I'm just past the 3 month mark Daphne. You're right. Hang in there!! It definitely gets better! I never thought I'd feel normal again or be able to eat anything but soft foods. I'm now eating pretty much anything and everything, including nuts and raw veggies.
Best wishes!

I have had my dentures (full) for 9 days now, and thinking I should NOT have had my teeth pulled. I gag all the time, and try to vomit. I can't wear my teeth out, as I would be embarrassed, having to take them out at the grocery store. I am tired looking like an old lady.

Try not to feel discouraged, Ann.  New dentures present some challenges, but the more you wear them, the quicker you'll adjust.  In time, I think you'll feel comfortable and confident with your new teeth.  Be sure to keep in touch with your dentist.  In the beginning, it's common to return to the dentist for frequent adjustments.  Hang in there - it will get better!

I hope it gets easier. Today, every time I put them on, I would gag, and have to take them out. I never thought it would be this hard.
