Cost of each product:  $17 for Olivafix and $23 for the Reline Kit (Includes shipping to USA)

I ordered this on 04/21/2017 and it arrived today 05/03/2017 so it took about 12 days to get here.

That red stuff on some cheeses?  PVAc.
Think about that next time you use Secure.

Huh, that's kind of interesting Ted. Never knew that.
Well I will say after having dinner tonight, soft street taco's, I felt a little give in my dentures, probably some my fault as my taco's may have been too loaded lol. But I just pressed my detures back down and they were fine again. It has been about 10 1/2 hours and they are still in and pretty secure feeling. Not sure if I'll be taking them out tonight or not. I'll keep using this the next few days of course, so I really get the full usage out of it, but I am very impressed with this stuff! I've already added it to my shopping cart on amazon! lol

Ted, yes I have been using secure for a long while now. It works very well for a long period of time for me with a little Fixident on the bottoms with it. I get mine from Vitacost I believe. About 22 dollars includes Shipping for 3 tubes. Shipping alone 4.99. Thanks

That's great Ramona!   Because of the $17 cost, I'm going to try using Olivafix in my bottoms and Secure on my uppers.  As with most, my issue is with the lower full denture.  I can get it to hold for about 8-12 hours (depending or what I eat and drink) with Secure.  I want to see how Olivafix hold up on the bottoms vs. Secure.

No stupid questions.  In the USA, Secure is sold under a license agreement with Bioforce USA.  It states Bioforce is the exclusive "distributor" of Secure in the USA in the "About Us" section of the Secure website.

"We are Bioforce USA, an industry leader in distinguished natural lifestyle products. Our mission is to bring you natural health care products from Europe that provide the highest level of quality, effectiveness and safety available today."

Sounds like an independent distributor to me.

Graphic Warning:  This post contains a Post-Eating Denture Photo.  View at YOUR own RISK only!

Olivafix is pretty good.  I put it in around 7am this morning and ate Breakfast and Lunch without issue.  Eggs and then Yogurt if you want to know.  We had a Zatarain's Creamy Cajun Style Pasta with Chicken meal tonight around 6:30PM.  I could feel the bottoms were starting to get loose, but they did hold through dinner.

I popped them out as shown below after dinner and gave them a quick rinse.  There was some of the cheese sauce and spinach leaves in both the uppers and lowers.  I always seem to get leafy veggies like spinach or brussel sprouts in them.  I LOVE fresh ground pepper and that stuff always finds a way to sneak in.  :-(

My dentures rinsed of very easily (must be the olive oil) and I popped them back in.  As I type this I'm chewing gum...  so, there's still SOME stick left in the Olivafix.  At +18 months with Dentures I could honestly eat that meal and what I had today with NO ADHESIVE.  I just personally chose to use SOMETHING, just so they stay where I want them to and don't wander off on their own.  :-)

After one day of use, I can honestly say that I like this product and will keep it as another tool in "the box" in addition to Secure and Protefix.    Is it worth $17 vs. 4/$20 for Secure?  At this point I would have to say no.

I'm going to use it for a few more days and will keep this thread updated.  I even tried to start a new YouTube video on Olivafix this morning, but forgot to turn OFF the Ultrasonic Cleaner before I started the Video Camera and there's an annoying buzzing in the background.  I'll video the "installation process" tomorrow or over the weekend and post that link here as well.

On the Pro side vs. Secure, Olivafix does seem to wash off the dentures easier and leave noticeably less residual gunk in my mouth than Secure tends to do, but I have my denture cleaning routine down pretty well now and it's not too much of a bother anymore.

Please feel free to ask me any questions if I missed anything here.

Different for me. I put mine in at 8am and just took them out at 9:30pm. I ate 3 meals including bagel with seeds, and pepper on a salad. They did not move and no food trapped. I will buy again definitely!

Me too Charlid61.  I was shooting for the 1 gram mark.  Made the Math easier!
Note the "apostrophe" on the upper "S" in the cupcake paper above.
I hit 1 gram on the nose with that.  LOL

I looked at Protefix on Amazon Prime and the cost was $15 with shipping so it's about the same. If you buy 3 Olivafix at $51 you get a tube free and the shipping is free too.

I tried the Bonyf AG Denture Lining Cushion Stabilizer a bit ago.
It "burned" a bit more than Soft Relines I had at the Dentist.
Very tolerable though.
At the moment, the fit feels really good.
After mixing it did start to setup very quickly so you need to work very fast.
My wife calls me McGyver 'cause I like to do most things myself!  :-)

Yes. It sounded VERY interesting.  I think it is a Professional Product that only Dentists and Labs are able to get in larger quantities.  I sent the Informational PDF to my Dentist a few weeks ago and am waiting to hear back from them.  I "think" my Dentist currently uses Coe-Soft for soft relines, but I asked them to check out Novus.  I need to followup with them about it.

This one seems legit?  I might order it after the Bonyf Liner wears out.

You have to be careful as a lot of these products are marketed aggressively and fail to perform as advertised.  Like anything I guess?

Ted I was watching a video I believe is comes from Switzerland.  I see they sell the it on line $295 but I agree it should be done by a professional. It goes over your own denture is that correct?

Whitesquare Chemical from Wilmington, DE appears to own the Patent(s) on the Novus Liner product.  I did see a site selling a "kit" for $265 online although it looks like they sell to Dentists and Labs.  According to their website, Novus was developed some years ago and was not available after 1988 for some reason.  Looks like an old product in a new package?

What do u think about it. Can u mention this to your dentist?  I have a good denturist I might call him and ask him.  If I understand this it goes over your denture, but do u need to use denture paste with it.

I sent a followup E-mail to my Dentist.  I had already sent them the Novus product PDF a few weeks ago and told them I was interested in it at my annual checkup.
Heck, I volunteered to be their "Guinea Pig" with it.  :-)

The Bonyf AG Liner Product began to separate from my lower denture last night.  This morning I pulled  it out.  The back edge of the upper is also a little lose.  The website offers 30 day refunds and they offered to send me a second tube of Olivafix for free.  I could have pushed to get a refund, but I decided to accept their offer.

I'm actually starting to like the Olivafix.  I'm getting the quantity thing down as well.  It works REALLY WELL in my upper and it still sticky after 24 hours which is pretty impressive.  It will hold a good 12 hours+ in my lowers depending on what I eat.  For example, Steak is going to pop them faster than Pasta.

Here's a photo of the end result of the Bonyf AG Liner in my lower denture:

FINAL ANALYSIS:

Bonyf AG Denture Relining Cushion: Not worth the money.  Many other products work better.

Olivafix Denture Adhesive Cream: Ted endorses this product (Ted doesn't endorse many products!)

My uppers fit well. I use adhesive to keep food out. I use Olivafix on the bottoms for the 12+ hour hold and polygrip on the top

Excellent way to extend the tube.  I plan to get every last drop out of that sucker too even if I have to cut it open.... which, as a matter of fact, I have done with Cushion Correct.
