Just got my immediate full dentures on top of 10 empty slots where my teeth used to be. I haven't slept, every time I fall asleep my teeth snap shut in the back and I wake up in more pain. I've got Popsicles in socks tied around my face how does anyone sleep with these things in?

I only slept with mine in (full tops and bottoms) the first few days. Much better without them. Are your extractions fresh?

Same here. Only slept in them the first night. Was told after that it wasn't good to sleep with them in.

Bruising is normal. Ice helps but I wouldn’t lay on an ice pack. I bought a facial ice mask from Amazon and it iced my whole face at once. Only had to use it a few days.

I slept with mine in for 4 days because I didn’t see my dentist until the following Monday. I wasn’t sure when to take it out, since it protects your extraction sites. After that you should be taking it out to clean and rinse with salt water rinses and leaving it out overnight. Currently I have pain everyday putting it in because it’s too big now since healing is in full swing. I use adhesive but the pain remains until my dentist does a soft reline. Overall, it’s not too bad, but my patience is wearing thin. It will get better.
