Yes, at least in my case. I was so miserable in the beginning and I just couldn't see how things would get better but oh my have they ever. The pain in the beginning, the raw, sharp spots, the dentures being loose, have all gone away.

I'm getting my permanents in 3 weeks and the change in my perception of what I did has improved tremendously. I eat just about what I want. Somethings take a little more patience to eat but I still manage. I have to eat slowly but my friends always complained I ate too fast anyways. I eat more lady-like now, or so It's been said.

I did exactly what the denture dude told me to do. I constantly called if I was having a problem. I told them that I was determined to be successful wearing my dentures full time and I expected them to do their part, which they have.

Thank you. That makes me feel better. This first week has been a roller coaster of emotions. I wasn't told much by my dentist on what to expect or how to maintain them

I was in the same boat in the first couple of days/weeks. My dentist didn’t give me alot of information either so when I found this site I was thrilled. The amount of tips and tricks blew me away and I find it’s easier every day. I have a full upper after 16 extractions and the denture is loose but I know it will be better once a reline is done which should be soon. For now adhesives work well enough and when they don’t I leave them out and deal with the goofy way i talk. Once I let my husband see me without them, everything got better.
