DenSureFit?? Anyone

Has anyone tried this ? It's $49.95 a tube..
I am still desperate for help.
Still struggling. I hate my denture
I'm 13 months into this disaster. It has not gotten any BETTER.
10 relines, 2 sets, dentist, oral surgeon, prosthodontist.
I am not a candidate for implants. This has ruined my life.

I just found this densurefit online today. Thought i would check to see if anyone has tried.
I have tried everything. From $1- $300. Nothing works. My top denture flops around and falls out.

Thank you.

Welcome to our group.  I can only speak for myself.  I have bottom dentures and hate them as well.  A Denturist is the way to go.  They are considered the third party, but when u find out u can go and have them make your denture without a dentist amazing.  So I would go to the denturist, but before u go there r man people that went your route.   Where do u live put it out there recommendation always helps.  BTW the are not cheap. I live in Queens NY .

Thanks Joan. I am in Knoxville TN.
I have spent almost $9,000 Since March of 2015. On appts, pastes, adhesives, home remedies. I want to take a dremel and cut the palate out. This is awful. Just awful.

Yes!! I heard that too. I'm going to try that. I'd been sick and another family member got sick...so I had hoped when i got back to dentist they were going to fix them like they thought. Nope. And Les, they told me that I needed new set made and All the same you have already had done. Except mine is bottoms...my jaw is not lined up... anyway, I really really feel for you. It is so tough. They keep telling me to eat with them..cant wear 24 hours...cant. So they tell me I'm not trying. I have bone loss and I told them I have no more money. I don't think my family even believes me. But. There was a denturist on here who explained what they did. So I looked up and yes...that is all they do is to make teeth fit. They would be the people the dentist would go to. But you can go straight your self. Now I haven't been yet...so I can't say for sure. My mother in law had worked for dentist for many years and how they made dentures is not what my dentist did. And hers were perfect. So I am not sure if it is my jaw or the office I go to. Alot of people have trouble. Sometimes I doubt myself. I do.know that many on here have advice for same problem. And I know someone whose dentures didn't work for few years, but slowly started getting better
I'm sorry I have no good answer except I can relate even though I haven't gone through what you have. That's what they told me to do. Thank you for the warning. Maybe that's what they say when they don't know how to fix. But, I'm certain something will come along. I want to be able to eat in public. Take Care..... if anything works..pass it on.

Bless your heart. Don't doubt yourself.. easier said than done. I know... I feel the same way. And feel like my family doesn't believe me either.
I just found a denturist!!! I am going to see him at 830am tomorrow. Thank you ALL!!

I want to eat in public. I just want to go out. When I do go, I take my teeth out in my car, they feel awful in my mouth. My luck I will wreck and they will fly out the window.
I guess it could be worse. But I tell ya. This is pretty bad. 45 look 85! Bad bad decision. I had 2 bones removed from my gum, the dentist said that would help.. nope. None. My last hope is the denturist in the morning.
Thanks for your words of encouragement.
I promise to post after my visit tomorrow.

My Dentist rocks.  Private Dentist with their own "in-house" Denture Lab and Techs.
I think Denturists are a good option.
Not allowed in PA though.  #adasux

This is interesting. Unfortunately I think one reason SOME Dentists are against Denturists is that the money for dentures won't go in their pocket.

Some Dentists?  I would say MOST Dentists here in the States anyway.  Did you read that tidbit about the ADA (American Dental Association)?
NOT very flattering to YOUR boss!
I repeat.  #adasux

"The ADA's Current Policies, updated in 2008, resolves that the ADA "vigorously opposes denturism" and notes that the use of the terms "denturist" and "denturism" in all ADA publications be accompanied by the following footnote:"

"A ‘denturist' is a person who is educationally unqualified to practice dentistry in any form on the public, and be it further resolved, that constituent and component societies act in concert with the American Dental Association."

Yes I did read it. Haha Thanks Ted! I mean MOST but I feel I have to watch some things I say on here. ;) Yea it totally sucks and insulting that they say that. You know....I bet it's the same reason they don't want oral care to be considered medical care. Not sure why they were divided to begin with but I think they'd lose control of the ADA fee guide if that happened. So sad for them. lol. pffft.

I can recommend a very good denture Adhesive that works like super glue. I love it especially for my bottom dentures. Its called Secure, and is Zink free and also waterproof. What it does is seals anything from getting between your dentures and gums.I take a Q Tip and spead it around my bottom denture and hold it down in place and then I do the top.The only thing is when you get ready to take them out, where it’s sealed so good and tight I swish Hot water around in my mouth until finally I can get them out .Some people wear theirs for up to a week before taking them out.I don’t.Because they were ruff pulling mine out and it’s been over a year and I’m still getting peices of theeth and bones out.but if you want a really good adhesive that you can take your hands and pull on them, they will not budge!!! I took a picture of my box . No mixing just put on your dentures and off you go.You can’t find this in stores, you have to order off of line.I pay 6 to 7 dollars for mine.and believe me I have tryed everything that is out there and I wouldn’t buy anything else.click on the link to see what it looks like.

This Juliette is wanting me to call her as soon as the product arrives, she will talk me through the application. She gave me a good discount and free shipping.
Oh. I hope it works
Thanks again

Omg, please tell me how it goes! I ordered comfort lining first (not much choice at the time) and want to try densurefit, but it will be months before I can.

I want to know if stays out, or squeezes out like the comfort lining. Th CL gets so thin, so fast, it's useless for me on my bottoms. (my wisdoms were cut out when I was a teenager, it's very tender back there at the edge). Sure, CL feels great - at first. But just the warmth of my mouth softens it and it squishes out. For people without that type of issue, it probably works great. Just not for me.

So at least you will understand what I'm talking about, right?

Pamela, yes I know exactly what you are talking about. The goo ran out the back, i would get choked on it. It ran over the sides too.

Ok. I done the DenSure Fit. With the help of Juliette and Tommy. They walked me through the whole process.. It Does NOT BURN... I am shocked. At how this works. It honestly works. I told them I could just cry..
I ordered 2 kits, because I use glues and powder every waking hour.
My mouth changes throughout the day. I have fibromyalgia and take turmeric. Turmeric is for inflammation. So what we put in our bodies effects our mouth too.

I bought 2 kits, and used 2 1/2 tubes, it did come out the back and up over the sides, but once it's cut it hasn't done it anymore. I can't believe I don't have any glue in right now and I'm not gagging.
As of right now, I recommend trying it. They are very sweet people. And for them to talk to me on the phone. That's just Great.

Please let me know if I can help. I'm no pro at this. About 14 months in.
But I can tell you I have tried every single powder, paste, glue, cheap and expensive. Nothing worked.
So far this does. I'm afraid to brag too much.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly!

I could just cry for you, too! To think to find something! After all we've gone through! The money we've thrown away!

Juliette is wonderful, I know. I've been emailing her. I wish I could have just ordered the densurefit first and been done with it!

No adhesive has ever done anything but dissolve the moment it goes in my mouth... Secure did last longer, I will admit that - and it was good on the upper. The lower, no.

Im lucky, I don't work outside my home, I don't wear them unless I go out. My boyfriend is beyond frustrated, he loves taking me out to eat, and it just kills him I eat a quarter of my meal and I'm done, i just can't chew anymore. He knows I'm still hungry. At least, I can keep them in with the CL. He's overjoyed at that, lol.

I can't wait til I can get the densurefit! Keep us updated, we all want to hear. We'll be here if it goes bad, we'll be here if you want to shout from the rooftops how wonderful it stays!

I have to add this about my dentist, if anyone feels they are close enough -

I adore my dentist. I went to Affordable Dentures (I know right? The stories you hear!) in Lake Charles, La. Dr Tommy was amazing. I don't do well with dentists, but he was wonderful!

The staff, pure gold! I was welcome to come every day if I needed to, to adjust for sore spots. But I lived 50 miles away . I learned how to use my battery operated nail file ($8.00 dollar general) to smooth places down. Learned how to use reline-it (practically the same thing as my dentists used for the soft lining in the immediate Dentures.

The immediate are always made from the lowest quality, the Economy set. But it's not bad, they are cusped teeth. My Permanents are the Premium set, and I could not be more thrilled! They are so little and dainty! $2800. No hidden fees. 1yr guarantee on the permanent ones. 1 month of adjustments once you get the permanents.

You can get a soft reline for $100. My gums are still shrinking, up to 2 years later. So, no, I stick with reline - it changing it every 2 weeks or so . Now I'm ready for something I don't have to change so often, and I don't want something that hard. I have bone edges, and they hurt if anything touches them. (bone loss, my ass. 30 years that bone is still sharp)

I recommend them (this particular one!) to anyone who can make the trip, and deal with minor things on your own, only going there when necessary.

And no, I'm not compensated for this, lol. I wish!

Oh, And Ted, out of curiosity for how much I might use... Do you have a full set, uppers and lowers? What size would say they are? (some men's are big, some aren't) And you used 2 1/2 tubes, that's a box and a half?

Pamela, we are alot alike... I have that little dollar General nail file too. And I was hungry too.
I can't wait for you to try the DenSure fit. And no I'm not getting paid. We need to share the good and the bad. I have the secure too. It goes somewhere, not in my denture.
I swear I'm gonna take a picture of everything I have. It's ridiculous.
I just drank a cup of coffee!! It was so good. And ate a piece of peanut butter toast! I done just fine. I have talked on the phone this morning and they didn't flop around or sound like I had a mouth full of sh!+. Lol
So happy today!

Oh to eat a sandwich with bread that doesn't pull them right off, right!?
I may never enjoy Carmel again with them- but I can live with that. I can eat butterfingers! But, Cheeseburgers, man I really hope I can eat them again!

I have been reading About Kiss Cote Ultra, a non stick coating. I emailed the company on where to find it, but no answer yet.

The stuff I've tried? Polydent glue, Polydent super, Polydent strips, Polydent powder. Seabond strips. Fixodent powder (boyfriend's) Secure adhesive. Comfort Lining.

I honest to God had one dentist tell I didn't want lowers, ever, because they were so bad, he joked, they charge you twice for the upper and give you the lowers.

I admit, I take medication that makes me thirsty. That can't possibly help the glue situation.

And to tell the truth, I Think CL does work for some people. No bone issues, the teeth do fit, they are just loose. All they need is that very thin layer.

I can at least talk with The CL. Wear them. Too uncomfortable to eat (but that is that bone issue) unless I change it everyday in the lower

IDK....  who knows what that Comfort Lining CRAP is made of?
She has at least five different versions of what it is made of on this site.

IDEAS FOR YOU:
Wooden Chop Stick Sanded on an angle with a Blunt Tip.
(Think Wood Cuticle Tool)
NOT a Steel Wool Pad!
I use these to clean Cushion Correct out of my Dentures and for Computer/Electronic parts cleaning:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QIXO82/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Or these Scotch "Slightly Abrasive/No Scratch" Pads

Good Luck!
WHY anyone would put that CRAP in their EXPENSIVE Dentures is beyond me?

So far, getting as much off after soaking in very hot water with a paper towels, I've been rubbing veg oil on them, then dawn. Rinse and repeat a few times. I just wondered if there was an easier way.

I'm going to use what I have. It's not my money, and I've thrown away so much already.... I'm getting densurefit when this almost gone. Since it's only lasting 4 days, that won't be long. But it beats the glues. At least it's not dissolving down my throat.

I had a few areas that needed a touchup with DenSureFit.  I scored the areas with an Exacto Knife and it pulled out easily with a tweezers.

I work on Computers and Mobile Devices, so I have tools like a Spudger (see below) and also a Dremel.   If you aren't a good DIY person, this product may not be right for you?

Chop Sticks and/or Wooden Cuticle Tools are also good to keep on hand along with Scotch Brite No Scratch Multi-Purpose Scrub Sponges.   This goes for using any DIY "Lining" product.

DenSureFit Customer Service is AWESOME.  Call or E-mail them and they may have some other tips?

My dentures are acrylic.  Both full.  Not Valplast or nylon.  So far as long-term bone loss I think most of us know people that have had the same Dentures for a LONG time and they still fit.  I think this bone loss thing is a "legal disclaimer" and Dentists hype the bone loss "semi-myth" to sell expensive implants.  IMHO.  I could be wrong?

My distrust of Dentists began after losing a few teeth and buying a partial that hurt to wear so I didn't.  They told me if I didn't wear it, my teeth would shift.  They didn't shift and the uncomfortable partial still fit 10 years later.

I also thing think our legal climate in the USA had something to do with Schering Plough/Bayer/Merck pulling Cushion Grip from the market.  Either that or they caved to pressure from the ADA.  Again, IMHO

I'm always up to try new things.  The Bonyf AG Liner is still good today.  At $23 it's not a bad price.   Four weeks is not very long though.
I communicated with DSF via E-mail and despite what the DenSurFit website states, I was told it's ok for lowers too.  FYI.
I get "free" (believe me I paid for them) relines with my denture package, but I haven't needed one in over a year.  I used Cushion Correct since day one with my perms.  The advantage with a soft reline is that you don't have to change it as frequently.   After a while, the Coe-Soft reline my dentist uses gets pretty hard.  I wonder how this product will be after a few months?

I've noticed that everyone mentions their redlines. I've had my dentures 13 months and only have had 2. And at first I didn't know about them. My dentures were too big and didn't fit. I was told to come in when I got sores. That soon seemed like a waste of time. It would be 5 minutes in chair and is going home. Then after some time I got recline. That was better but not by much. 2nd recline was 2 months ago. She did alot of work but still soft recline and wanted to charge 500.00. Is this par for course? They ended up doing them free. I told them that they told me all was paid up front. I kinda feel like they got their money, or did job wrong and just pushing me out door.

$500 is absurd.  Do you have anything is writing about their reline/other adjustment policy?  I moved on to my permanent dentures at about the 6 month point and they are smaller and better fitting than my immediates were.
I've heard it said that immediate dentures are someone's best guess of what your gums are going to look like post extractions.
In quality, well fitting dentures, soft relines are a wonderful thing.

Thank you Ted, I feel a bit vindicated now. I do have all my paper work on what was going to be done. I didn't know about relines and no...specifically they are not there. It's long story but when I first went there and told them I had been quoted around 20,000.00 for my dentures, they assured me they could do lot better. I was so excited. I whipped out the credit card and charged 4000.00 that they said they'd need for impressions etc. The next day they told me it would be 11,000. I cried. I had told them that I could not afford even 10,000. But they said ok. So I realized I just blew 4000 bucks and then called and said I need at least half back. Ok I'm telling long story........ ok so they took off the permanents and said they could make the immediate work. Well, then it was 7000 and I have teeth they told me will never fit. And all this stuff I need to do. Costing about 20,000 total. They told me that I "didn't give them much to work with" . Meaning my teeth were in bad shape. I'm not sure what to think. But, since of late I have read so much on here, I am sitting here now with dentures in. They don't fit. I've tried but I thought I'll try again..maybe harder this time. The uppers stau put. But with lowers they just bang together. I'm sorry. I'm rambling again. On here others know what I mean. My family is thinking I should try harder. Even though dentist office said..these will Never fit. I don't know if it is money or they made mistake. My lower jaw goes to side a bit. Ok enough of me...im thinking of Tj today who has been on here asking questions and gets his teeth done to day. I'm wearing my teeth in honor..so to speak. Sorry for life story. I will go to dentist again and probably show them that although I am nice.... I won't be made fool of. I only let it go this long cause my mother in law was sick then died. I'm rambling again..sorry....better get off this crazy thing. Have nice day.

WOW.  That's a lot to deal with.  I know many folks (from another forum) that used this guy and are very happy.  The only person I know that did not like their denture had a Valplast Partial.

He even uses a new cool new material to make them called Karadent which is Semi-Rigid.  I understand he will work with you to get things right.  I know it sounds weird, but Dentures via Email/Internet are possible.

This is the Material:

https://tcsdentalinc.com/products/iflex-by-tcs

His name is Russel and he has an Etsy Store here:

https://www.etsy.com/shop/denturestore

His reviews are great.

My perms fit great.  Otherwise I might have bought them from him and/or will in the future if/when the time comes.

I didn't even know there were different materials. I don't know if I understand how to get dentures over internet but will look into it. Would you mind telling city your dentist is in? I know it's long shot, but over long period of time I have been asking around and you seem quite happy with yourself. There was someone else who said her dentist called her every night to see how she was doing and didn't everything possible to be sure her dentures fit. I regret not asking her .....honestly I think I would have made an appointment. Wherever they were. Thank you for the help. Appreciate it!!!

I'd encourage you to read through that info on Karadent.
I would then check out Russel's reviews on Etsy.
Doing your own impressions is NOT hard to do.
Very easy as a matter of fact.
I'm sure there are YouTube Videos on how to do it as well.

I would of never guessed. And If it's not rocket science, why don't most have problems with them because they (dentist techs) can't get them to fit? It takes a lot of WILLPOWER to live here and NOT gain weight!  LOL
I think one of the main reasons my dentist was so good was that she has a Denture Tech/Lab In-house.  Really nice when it comes to repairs, etc.

FYI The ADA is staunchly Anti-Denturist.  It cuts into their profit margin and there are less than 10 states (?) where Denturists are legal in the USA.

I'm in Florida and I did look up denturists and I think I found one, I just didn't follow through yet because I thought I would give my dentist another chance. Ted, I think this is rocket science....for me. And thinking of calling my dentist office to see what my dentures are made of. But. They seem to not be upfront. I better look into that. That reline I had in March made me sick. So I could not wear them for few days. Smelled like airplane glue. They said it was not harmful.

Russel on Etsy is in Orlando.  I would at least contact him via an Etsy Message and see if you get a good vibe from him.
Not many Labs use that Karadent Material. None around me.
99% chance your Dentures are Acrylic if they are Full Dentures.

What are you talking about when you say "CL"? And what is it you say is so hard to remove? Is it the diy soft reline? I'm fixing to order DenSureFit and can't wait to try it. Spoke to Juliette and she was great at answering all my questions. Btw, so glad this site is here. You guys have helped answer some of my questions too. Thank you

So, I finally got my DenSureFit, yesterday. (And they even sent me an extra tube!) I was so excited. I was so sure this would be it. A nice, soft cushion that doesn't ooze away like the Comfort Lining.
I got in in last night. wore them for awhile. Didn't know what to think, my gums were a little sore from eating without them.

Today, I used the tiny bit left to lift one side a little. 3 tubes. I can't believe it.

RESULTS
1-It is not soft. Maybe it's not as hard as the denture material, but it's still nowhere close to being a soft cushion. My mouth hurts now from wearing it a few hours.

2-It's sets up ridiculously fast. And there is nowhere near enough primer. So, you cut off the flashing, and it's not stuck to the denture.

3-There is no suction fit. they pop off constantly actually had to put some secure on the lowers, and that really pisses me off.

I don't have anything good to say about this stuff. $50. bucks, down the drain.

For all that y'all rag on Comfort Lining, my only complaint was that my body temperature affected it. It stayed just fine in the top. A beautiful soft fit! My lowers are just so loose, it oozed out. I'll get them to fit better. I'm going back to it.

I feel very misled.

Comfort Lining?
Are you freaking serious?
I don't put CRAP in my mouth made by FELONS and that I have no idea what the ingredients are!
There's plenty of Primer in DenSureFit.
Use in Lower Denture is "off label" per their box/website.
Did you even bother to call Juliette or their number for help?
Their customer Service Rocks!
Buy some Cushion Correct or DinaBase 7 from a reputable company if you don't like DenSureFit.
DenSureFit is soft
DenSureFit does not set up fast.
DenSureFit does not hurt.
I couldn't disagree with you and your post more vehemently.

Sounds like your Denture is so ILL FITTING, nothing will correct the fit. Maybe you need to go see about a hard reline?  Hard to believe melted plastic balls( CL) makes you happy with the fit.   Your paying 35 bucks for 5 cents worth of "Hobby Plastic" when you buy from that FELON.

melted plastic balls? hobby plastic? My top was perfectly, thinly covered with it maybe 1.5 ml thick and wonderfully comfortable, perfectly fitted. A very soft cushion. I know my bottoms are loose and very ill fitting.

I am getting hard-reline , thank you. When I get a small fortune saved.

It has to do with the way they design their product to make it easy for consumers to use.   Once the product dries in that tip, the tip is useless.  I guess in theory you could break it off and try to store it unmixed?  Sort of defeats the "ease of use feature" though.  I haven't tried it yet so this is MY speculation based on working with other similar things like two part epoxy, other liner products, etc.

FYI you can close the tip to seal it.  This tip is useless, but it seems like a standard 50/50 mix that you could stir manually and apply with a small pallet tool.   You might even be able to find replacement tips?

Again, this is speculation by me after working with similar "mixing products" like this:

Just take the tip off and blow out the silicone from one end. Then you can use it again. I found that out by watching youtube videos. I'm debating on getting this stuff. Though I might try the powder first and see if that will work on my bottoms.

Here's a look at my Uppers and Lowers (lowers are an "off-label" use of DenSurFit) after the DenSurFit setup in them for about an hour.  While I only used about 1/2 of one tube, I did use ALL the primer to do both dentures.  :-(

Time will tell how well this product holds up but it feels great in both dentures at T + 24 hours and I'm trying this product without using other adhesives for now and it's working well thus far.

That picture is the most helpful thing!!! I'll need it that thick, but to do more around sides, so 1 tube should be perfect. I was worried no end when Les said he used 2 1/2, if that's what I'd need, No way I could afford it! This, though, yes, I could afford to do it if I just used 2, but omg to just use 1! I could just dance!!! (whoot-and it's cheaper than CL!)

I've included pictures of mine with just now applied Comfort Lining so others can see what I mean. It's very thin on the palate part of the upper. I will add, I'm not having trouble with too much oozing out of the upper. CL works fine on perfect fitting but slightly loose teeth. You have actually loose dentures or parts of gums that are tender, such as bone issues, forget it. I need a 2mm layer on the bottom that stays puts. CL thins out.

Thanks Ted!

DenSurFit has to be the easiest liner product to use due to the mixing tip.

This is the first silicone (vinyl polysiloxane) liner  product I have used.

I'm on day 3 and it still fits and feels great.

Very soft, but it still seems to be durable and is also easy to clean.

I wish it came with more primer as I have an entire unused tube + left.

I pretty impressed with this stuff so far.

__________________________________________________________

Note on Comfort Lining:  You couldn't PAY ME to use that stuff.

I see she has FINALLY listed ingredients of the EX on her web site.

Member "cpaulg" summed it up perfectly in a post about a week ago:

"The worst one of all the "alternatives" is a basement concoction called Comfort Lining"

That's great Ted. I'm still doing great with mine.
I bought the comfort lining too. That stuff did not work. I was VERY UPSET WITH THEM(comfort lining)
The DenSure Fit do far has been the best thing I have tried.

Pamela, I don't think 1 kit will be enough for you. SAve up and get two kits. You can call them and see if they could give you a discount, they done free shipping for me. You need to call them and let her walk you through the process, juliette and her husband were very helpful. I think being on the phone with them made it much easier for me.
When I done the 1 tube it was still real loose. , 2nd tune was better but not just right. But my denture was bad. I could not talk without it falling out of my mouth.
Good luck.

Hi Pamela. Is it a full lower that you have? Do you chew on both sides at the same time?
Photo of Pamela Bourque

Pamela Bourque

Yes, a full lower. And, no, I can't chew on both sides because of a boney corner on one side where my molars were cut out as a teenager. I know that's part of problem. Part of the reason I need the cushion of densurefit. Another in the front from extractions taking out bone, too. I can chew on both sides if those spots won't touch the denture.

I'm sorry to hear that Pamela. I wonder if they could've shaved the bone down a little so that you wouldn't have the pain? It's hard to tell when for example you're not in our location physically to see if you have some options. Good to know you can chew on both sides at the same time. That's a tough one to learn. If I remember correctly you mentioned in a comment somewhere that you've tried everything? I can't remember if that was with Dentists etc or adhesives? I also wonder if implants may help but they're costly. Even though I work at a Denture Clinic I'm practical and I don't sugar coat things. I don't have insurance and my hubby needs dental work as well that we've had to put on the side for now. So yes, I mentioned implants and not sure if they would work for you but I get it. The cost is a factor. I really wish all this stuff was covered. I know we are a little more fortunate here in Canada (Ontario) with our health care but retirees and elderly are not considered very much. I don't mean that's the only age group we get. We get young people as well. It's pretty disgusting that many try and work hard all their lives and once things like this for example are needed there's not much help.

If you ever wanted to think about implants and you are a good candidate for it I would think 2 are good. Once again not seeing the inside of your mouth in person doesn't really help. But!!!!!! Just a tip!!! The more implants the better yes! Most Dentists will tell you need 4 or more but I think they forget we don't have an income like them. Most of the time 2 will be fine. We recommended a nice lady to think about seeing a Dentist for at least 2. She came back with 8! 4 upper/4 lower. Ugggh I felt bad for her. so much money spent but in our business we have to be amicable with the local Dentists in our town so I couldn't tell her he made her get too many. If you can get implants it may help with the discomfort on the back. The denture would snap (Implant Retained Full Lower Denture) on the implants and may give relief and not put so much pressure on the back. Once again so hard to tell when you're not here in the chair but if you didn't know any of this I hope it will help. That's what I'm hear to do. Give some people tips about what goes on in the "inside" of this dental world that many may not know or offices don't bother telling them. We try our best to teach/educate everything when it comes to dentures to people that walk through our door. We try our best with info on natural teeth as well however we are a Denture Clinic specializing in Dentures only and only know so much about natural dentition (teeth). I hope this helps you a bit girl. If not I hope its helps someone out there.

Joan, I've tried secure. Secure, polident, fixodent, seabond. Not one glue works - though the secure held longer - once I start eating, it dissolves. Nothing holds that lower in place. I've enough experience now with the CL to know I need the cushioning. Densurefit will be perfect.

Densurfit did not work on my lower denture and then I had an awful time removing the stuff. My bottom denture flops around and I can't even talk or eat with it.  Most of the time I just go without it.  I am thinking of implants but I know they are costly. It would be worth it, however.

DenSureFit packaging and advertising specifically states that it is for Uppers only.

It works great in my high quality heat-cured dentures - Upper and lower.

Sounds like you may have some issues beyond the scope of this product.

I had planned on getting 3M ESPE MDI's on my lowers at eDay.  When the time came, for my Permanent Dentures, I didn't see the need and saved $1,700.

We're all different though.

I'm wondering how much they say about bone loss is true - those molars and wisdom teeth were cut out when I was 17. I am 51 and those corners are just as sharp as they were then. I should have lost something, one would think. Rounded off at the very least, you know?

I don't mean to belittle your problem, though!

People also go through experiences that their Dental Providers don't care. I hate hearing that. We are all people with feelings. I'm not trying to toot our horn but we have an average of about 16 appts a day and that's busy as we also have to get work done to finish new dentures and sometimes emergency repairs. We are closed on Monday for long weekend and sometimes people panic so we had about 22 appts and skipped lunch. The extra appts were last min calls for adjustments we don't charge for. I like to think we try our best to help people through their new journey. It's not always about the pay cheque! I'm sure many of you agree.

Yes!  I am ordering again bc I'm using immediate dentures still and my gum swelling went down more.  I love it.  I have tried everything you can buy in stores, they are terrible.  I highly highly highly recommend densurefit.  It adheres to your denture and becomes a part of it, it will not pop out like the other ka ka, or wear down. It's soft, yet firm enough to maintain suction on uppers.  Go for it!

Hi Amanda, my problem is that I have NO SUCTION on top. They literally fall down if not glued. I had everything I've tried so far to keep them in place. Nothing has worked so far. Do you think it would work for me since there is no suction at all? Can u use it on bottom denture as well?

I have had dentures for 45 years. I had my teeth knocked out by a x husband. I have tried everything. Nothing works on the bottom. I recently went and bought new dentures. They are a nightmare. The bottom teeth are so big I feel like I have a bunch of crap in my mouth. They are so big I can hardly get them in my mouth. I have sore spots and have been cut by them. I cant eat anything. I drink ensure. I just ordered DenSureFit. I pray to God this works. They will not help me at the denture clinic because I didnt get my teeth pulled. Can i use this product on permanent teeth?
