DenSureFit Update

I'm on day 16 or so with DenSureFit in both my Upper and Lower Denture.
DenSureFit suggested I add a bit more product to my upper and it is AWESOME!
No Adhesive and I can chew gum and eat almost Anything!
I used to use a little Secure on my Permanent Uppers.... NOT ANYMORE.
I want this company to succeed so I am assisting them in promoting this product.
They are NOT paying me to do this.
IT IS THAT GOOD PEOPLE!
Start with watching the following Video from Bill:

I love to watch Bill too. I am just about at the two months on top immediate denture. I am still having trouble eating bc they do not fit well rock and move forward. Got my first soft reline and it's already coming from the surface. I am praying this gets easier. I don't enjoy food anymore bc of how they don't function properly. Trying my best to deal with this...wondering if I can use the DenSure fit now....some good days but not to many. Top gums are healing faster than I thought that they would.

You might want to try some Cushion Correct at this point. (Amazon)
Two months out your gums are still changing rapidly.
This stuff is NOT cheap even with the Coupon Code at $40 and lasts up to 3 months.
CC would give you a chance to "play" with DIY lining products.
Have the Dentist fix that reline too!
IMHO

This product does not work on lower dentures. Wasted my money. It hardened and disoveld in one week. Thought sure I had found a replacement for cushion grip.

Hi Cassandra, I was scrolling through Amazon this morning and stumbled upon CUSHION GRIP for $19.99. It’s made by a different manufacturer but it says on the box “Original” and in the description it says it’s the Original, back by popular demand. I ordered some, so we’ll see how that goes on Wednesday when it gets here

First, I'd like to know how he talks so well without teeth.  Also, do you think it would word with temp dentures, or would you just wait?

I think it would be great with Immediates or Permanents!
I had to break my Immediates out last month when I lost a tooth over the weekend.
I used Cushion Correct, but DenSureFit would have been great to have then!

I want to know that too bc I can't talk well without it in and don't like to talk especially to my husband. I won't even let him see me without them in. I wait for him to go to bed he wakes before me and then I wake and take care of my morning ritual now.

Loved your video. It was spot on!! I really can't wait to get some DenSure fit. I am hanging in there but some days are harder than others almost two months post extractions with immediate denture. But great quality video. Very well thought out too.

Gettysburg, Hershey and Lancaster County are cool.

Plus we're VERY close (1-2.5) hours from Washington DC, New York, Baltimore and Philadelphia.   We we're going to go to see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall with her but ran out of time.

But I'm pretty sure the assistants will be taking care of the adjustments for you. My best friend is a cheap battery operated acrylic nail file I got at the dollar general store, less than $10. I don't live close enough to have gone by everytime a sore spot popped up. This was a lifesaver!

@Diane .. What magic mouthwash are you referring to ?  I am getting mine done on Monday and I am thinking of stocking up on items I will or might need before hand.

Def the file, and some soft food (unless you have unbelievably high tolerance for pain, you gums will be tender, and teeth or not, pressure will hurt).

And strangely enough, I would suggest Sudafed. Because it reduces swelling in the sinus, which you will get, and around the ears. I would go with the 24hr be done with it, that 4hr crap isn't worth the effort.

Vit E to help with healing. I could kick myself for forgetting. Start taking it now, large doses. It's proven to help with recovery after any surgery, and considering the condition of our gums after extraction, I believe it qualifies!

Best of luck!

OK, color me interested.  Had my 5 week checkup this week and the dentist said its still too soon for a reline, scheduled me two months out with the caveat that if they got too loose to come in sooner.  I'm not having any issues with them falling out (thanks to your Secure recommendation) but I'm wondering if it could be better.

Is it too early to start thinking about doing it at home?

You could try?  BUT...  I have my Permanents and they fit really well.  Immediates are tricky and never really fit that well as your gums are continually shrinking, so this might be a tad on the expensive side at this point.
I would probably advise getting some Cushion Correct off Amazon.   It only lasts for a week, but you can get used to playing with linings for $15 instead of blowing $40 on this.  IMHO

I'm going into week #6 with DenSureFit.  In Episode #3 Ted Comments on DenSureFit (Not Really)

This stuff is holding up VERY WELL and I've been giving it a workout!  Nuts, Steak and all sorts of yummy foods.  Looks and feels the same as the day I put it in.

I had to do SOMETHING with my $100 eBay Gift Card Melanie!  :-)
