Hi Lisa, sorry to hear that your Fixodent has clogged your drain! One potential solution is to flush the drain with very hot water after cleaning your dentures. This should prevent any product build-up. Commercial drain cleaners should dissolve any build-up as well. I hope this helps. Thanks for being a part of the community!

This is simply horrible to hear, I was actually worried about this the first time I went to remove the adhesive from my denture. I hope this helps, You can talk to me personally about anything at Denture Support Group The method I use now (im 60 days in) is I will take them out about an hour before bed, immediately I will take a paper towel and rip it into 4 nice size squares, use one square to rest the denture on. Use the other 3 to wipe out the denture adhesive, you can feel free to give it some scrubbing action because paper towel shouldn't hurt your dentures. After the third square of paper towel I usually have gotten all of the adhesvie removed and then I soak them. This way when I wake up in the morning and go to brush them out, the adhesive goop is not there at all. Nothing really to go down the drain anymore.
