Hi Lucy. Unfortunately, at least for me, the bottoms are the hardest to keep in place. I have had full dentures going on 9 months now. I have tried lots of adhesive products. For the bottoms, I have found that a product called Sea Bond liners work the best. They are pad like liners that you dampen and fit into the dentures. They provide some cushion and adhesion. But they are by no means perfect. They lessen the discomfort but don't totally remove it. As for eating, it's still a chore and the bottoms still move a bit but a lot less I have found from other products. Of course these things can be different from person to person so I guess just try a bunch of products till you find what works best for you. Some foods are more difficult than others too. Meat and breads are a huge chore for me. It's hard work to say the least. I hope you find something that works. I don't want to discourage you, but for me dentures have been utter hell.

Hi  murphy
Maybe its not you but but it is  the dentures
Tell the dentist they  are wrong and unacceptable and unless he  can fix These lower temporaries you want a refund
Start there\
Do not let him talk you into paying for new permanent dentures
You paid for these so either fix them or give you your money back
Stick up for yourself   Its your money
Keep us posted
Good luck

Bottom dentures are very hard to fit
Dentists should not be selling them

Tell your dentist if he can not make  these temporary
dentures fit you want a refund

What ever you do do not pay for permanent lowers
You will have the same problem and it will cost you
twice as much money
Put him on notice and if they do not fit get a refund
Good Luck

What are the options for lowers?

The least expensive best thing for lowers is a clip on  over denture
The denture clips on to 2 implants

The dentist must be someone  with experience in implants\
Done correctly you will not need glue to stabilize them the denture  stabilizes on the implants

You should get your money back from your dentist but it takes a little work and guts
You start the request for a refund with a "Demand" letter  (look up demand letter to a dentist on the internet) and send the letter certified return receipt
You have to give him the opportunity to make a denture to fit if he wants to offer that  Send it typed

Are you near a Dental College??  Or near Mexico?

You can do it
With the 2 implants you will not have to spend money on
fixodent or relining and you will be able to eat and they will
feel stable and like real teeth

We spend money on cell phone and TV packages that is much more expensive then this

Hi Lucy,
I have solved some of that problem with Dinabase7 which I buy online.  I found it in Germany and it is the most like Cushion Grip that worked great but that is not being sold anymore.  Check around online and see if you can find a way to get decent prices on Dinabase7.

https://dinabase.fr/  It is a bit difficult to deal with a foreign entity with their different monetary units, and language barriers, etc.  It can be done, however, and you can send them messages with questions here.  If you get this product, do not over-do the application.  It probably will not take much of it....trial and error.  A little goes a long way as a rule.

HI Lucy

If you can not  wear your bottoms go and tell your dentist that if he can not make them fit you want a refund

Better yet first send him a certified Letter saying the bottoms do not fit and if he can not make them fit you want a refund

Send the Letter certified with a return receipt requested

start  from there

Good Luck

When  you go for your new bottom denture why don;t
you explore clip on bottm dentures

Ask your dentist about them and the cost
The denture clips on to 2 implants

Most people love them and say they are a game changer

If you have a dental college in your area go there because
they should know all about them
Good luck

Hi Lucy,
I have had false teeth since I was 34 and I am 77 now.  The uppers don't give me problems but the bottoms sure do.  When I have to eat with them in I use Fixodent and before I put them in my mouth, I sprinkle Fixodent denture powder in there too, this seems to help it hold better, I never heard of the Dinabase7, I might check that out.

Please do what you can. There were a lot of people let down when they stopped making cushion grip. With all the money they could have made, I wish I knew the reason they stopped making it.

I have found a place in Napoli, Italy through eBay. Their site says they ship worldwide except for Germany, Switzerland and a couple of others but says nothing about the United States. I'm having a hard time getting a shipping invoice and the amount of postage. I have sent 3 or 4 emails but haven't heard anything yet. The price is $10.26. I called eBay and they said shipping is free but I don't know. We'll see.

The one on eBay that I sent a message to about the shipping sent back one that said they don't ship to the U.S.  Frustrating.  I don't think shipping will be free from Italy.

I found a company on Amazon France, Au Discounter Santé, who will ship Dinabase7 to US. $8.90 + $59.99 for postage = $68.89. I ordered one, hope it's worth it.

Well if the bottoms don't hold perhaps you can get  a refund on the bottom denture

A bottom   clip on denture would work and is a game changer

It only needs 2 implants to clip on to

Hi  Lucy Stetson
I don/t know of any solution except to get the clip on dentures .  They
could clip on  to only  2
implants.   It is sort of expensive but it would really be comfortable and solid and anchored

Where do you live??  If there is a Dental college clinic near you that   would be
inexpensive there.    If you live near Mexico it is very inexpensive there
Let us know how you are doing
Good Luck

Hi  Lucy Stetson
When I got my implants my insurance did not pay for my implants but they
did pay for the crown that went on top of the implants and  the x rays and other things
It was only the implant itself that they did not pay for
I financed the balance and it was less money then my monthly TV package and I have enjoyed em completly

I ordered Dinabase 7 from France and it came in the mail yesterday. I tried it out today and I must say it works as well as the Cushion Grip. It was kind of expensive since it came from over seas but for me it was well worth it. Go to Amazon France. Of course it is in French so it will be helpful if your computer or tablet has translation on it.

I'm looking for the same thing. I live in the United States and for some reason all sites that I have found ( they are all in Europe) will not allow for Dinabase 7 to be shipped to the USA. I don't understand why. But if you come across a place that will ship it to the USA could you post it please? I would really like to try it out especially on my lower denture because they won't stay in at all. As soon as I start talking they try to pop out. It's so frustrating.
Thank you

Try Amazon France. They will ship to US but the postage is outrageous. I ordered just one to give it a try. I'll let you know how it works. Delivery is estimated between dec 13 and Jan 9. Dinabase 7.

Ohhh please let us know. I know that DenSureFit is nothing more than a reline, however from what I’ve read it seems to be much better than the relines the dentists use and it’s $50. Has anyone tried it?

I have tried it several times but I didn't care for it because I still have to use denture cream and it wouldn't stick. I have been using a denture reline from Switzerland but I have been having a hard time finding it lately because they changed hands. I finally found it. The Dinabase7 that I have heard so much about is on it 's way from France. I do hope it works but if it doesn't, I will be ordering the relin e stabilizer again. Once it comes , I will post as to how I feel about it.

I have just placed an order on eBay but I am waiting on someone send me a shipping price. The price of the Dinabase is $10.90 but I need to know the price shipping before I truly place the order, it might cost more than I'm willing to pay.
