I wish I had joined this before I got my bottom teeth removed, I never had problems with my top dentures but the bottoms ones arent good with dentures, if I could afford implants I would get them. The bottoms dentures don't stay in long, my dentist told me that he'd try to save a few of my bottom teeth so I can get partials but I didn't and I wish I had listened. So think hard and try to avoid bottom dentures as much as you can.

5 months ago I had all my teeth pulled except 2 on bottom. The dr. Calls them the canine teeth. He did root canals on both a week before pulling the other teeth. At that time he sawed the teeth off at the gum line. A month ago he put in posts in my bottom teeth and something metal in my teeth so the posts snap into my teeth. Wow, what a difference it makes. My bottom teeth stay into place now. You still get food under them but just snap them out, clean them and back in. So glad I did this. Cost a little more but not much. Hope this helps.
