This product works great and saved me when i was in the hospital.Wasn't sure if i was getting out!!!

If your comfort lining isn't working for you, then it has to be you trying to use it.

I have had no problems and om sick and tired of hearing these neg comments
I amost dies and some of you people need to wake up, life is short.

This girl is working to satisfy you and you talk behimd her back.  real nice wake up
I know it works from experience if i can use it and i am a old man than you sure as hell can.

Im so glad to hear that it has worked for you sir! I was interested in trying to the product but when I saw it listed for $100.00 on ebay I just can't begin to afford it anymore than i could afford to try the Cushion grip for the same price. I tried to read her feedback on the purchases but it wouldn't let me access it. I hope its going to be able to be produced more efficiently for her and maybe it can come down to reasonable prices like Cushion grip used to be at $8.00 a tube at Walgreens. Maybe she will find a company that can help her. It certainly could be a potentially excellent income for her. I might be wrong, but it seems you are both in Florida so maybe you are able to have a chance to sample her products. Best wishes to you sir and thank you for sharing your experience with this product.

Leslie,

Someone was trying to sell Comfort Lining on eBay for $100? Do you happento know who it was?

Her price is $20 with free shipping. I wonder who would do that? Crazy!

I have no idea, i searched it and it came up at that price. Even 20 bucks is steep for me to pay on a low disability income to find out it doesn't work well enough for me. I would try it if it was 10 bucks like the price of cushion grip was, but I realize it might not be possible to get supplies etc and all the time in a one woman operation. If i knew for sure it would perform well it might be worth it. I am only 9 days out of my E day and immediate full denture so i never have even used The original Cushion Grip to even compare it. I do hope it works for her as it sounds like a wonderful product that is greatly needed!

You can email her and ask her for a sample. I'm not sure if she is still sending them out but it's worth a shot! Her email address is Comfortlining@Gmail.com

The reason her prices are what they are is because she has free shipping everywhere.

And, like you, I've never seen Cushion Grip either. And I'm also on disability.

If she has rights over this product, maybe she can review who has purchased all of her products and prosecute them. Such a shame that people have no morals and take advantage of others!

Allen, you are very correct in your statement!

my Comfort Lining tube works great!!!  the issues are the people that have never used cushion grip and now they want comfort lining. They do not know how to use the thermoplastic adhesive and blame Jen for their ignorance
I'm actually buying 3 more tubes today.
Jen, is working a deal with me to get a discount since this is my second purchase.

Im so sorry for her! Thats not right. I thought this was an open forum? Im confused, but i don't know what she endured. People can be so petty and ugly. If you know her personally please tell her I hope she finds success in this. I don't know if she is a single parent, person, etc...but as a single parent of 2 boys who are now grown men, i sure would have loved to have found a way to provide well for them!!!

Leslie, have you contacted her and asked about a trial? If she isn't doing them anymore, I still have my free trial in the baggie that she sealed it in. The only thing that I did was open the envelope, take the lid off tube and smell it. I've never touched the product at all. If you would like to email me your address, I would be more than happy to send this to you!

I know what it's like to be living on disability. Income! I'm fortunate enough that my husband has a very good job or I'd still be without teeth!

Please let me know after you've spoke with Jenn!

Oh thats good, but i can't pay 20 for 1 tube to see if it would work for me, let alone have to buy 4 at one time for 100.00 which is 25.00 a tube. I sure hope she has success in it though for those who can. Tge cushion grip seems to sell at that price for 1 tube!

If she is using essential oils they would have to be 100% pure and uncut oils. I know someone who sells/uses Young living oils and she puts the lemon oil in her drinking water. Some of them are safe to consume, but you actually have to have a list of ingredients because what is safe for one individual isn't safe for another. I am going to try it one time at my own risk. Im not going to say anything negative because I don't know the girl. Everyone starts off somewhere. If she has a good head on her shoulders and can get it off the ground and it is a useful product then i can only give her good wishes, BUT I WILL LEAVE A 100% HONEST DETAILED REVIEW, THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY! Taste, texture, sensations etc.... My gums are not completely healed and i have bone shards coming out and some bleeding today with alot of pain and pressure so i have got to get past this before I can give it a go. I go to Aspen Dental for my 2 week follow up and im thinking he might postpone my soft liner which would be really disappointing.

Leslie, I hope your appointment is very soon. If not please contact your dentist. Bleeding almost 2 weeks out isn't a good thing. I had 12 removed and didn't bleed after a couple days. They didn't do my soft liner until a month or two out.

Thank you, I appreciate it! I see him tomorrow and it hadn't been bleeding until the shards so i think thats it and possibly dry socket. The air if i breathe in open mouth its the bone and causes alot of pain clear up through to my eye socket and my cheekbone. I almost always get dry socket. I follow all instructions, im not a smoker so he said some people are prone to dry sockets even if they do everything right and others do the exact opposite of the instructions and don't get them. Maybe its all my meds that keep my mouth so dry. Thanks again!

6 months in and I went to pick up my permanent dentures and had a bone shard! I normally can get them with special tweezers that I have boiled and sanitized for just such thing, but I had to have the dentist remove this one, I could feel it with my finger but couldn't see the darned thing!

I found her website, and ordered 1 tube of the original - 20 bucks and free shipping. Well worth a try for me. I will let you know. My bone shards finally stopped. I have an appt. next month for xrays to determine implant placement. If there was any way to avoid that, or put it off, I would jump at it.

Leslie,
You can purchase either by phone with Jen or on her website www.comfortlining.com or ebay.
she is very nice and will contact you right away if you have any questions.
I was looking at ebay as well and saw her post. Ended up reading her post and it does describe 4 tubes. You have to read the description inside.

Can't believe how much they are charging for cushion grip. especially since its very dried up now and thank the lord that i have found Jen, because i cannot use the other adhesives. I get thrush very easily and the only thing that helps keep my mouth cleaner is the thermoplastic adhesive.

I'm recommending Jen to everyone i know that wears dentures. She has helped out so many and i am thankful for her invention.
for the ones that cannot use her product, obviously do not know how cushion grip worked. Comfort grip is almost the same in my book.
I think the small amount of people that are upset are ones that are always upset with everything including themselves and nothing can go right for them. They have to blame everything on everyone else and are never happy dear.
I have been around for a long time and have seen several kinds of people in my older age.

jen dear, you have a lifetime customer here doll!
you are a wonderful young lady and have helped so many even if they haven't said thank you.

Yes ma'am, i saw that. The listing is confusing when you see it in the listing of adhesives. Maybe if she put 4xs or a picture with 4 tubes, but that is her business. I am certainly not upset at all, and i am looking forward to trying the product. Maybe reading my comments about cheering her on and being supportive would be helpful to you.

Betty, we are excited that you have found a product that works great for you and others you know. The blanket statement about what type of people are that can't use it or dislike it is a generalization that could be upsetting to others. What works well for one person may not work well for another. Please reach out with any questions. Thanks!

Until you get a bad tube! She needs to get quality control or better manufacturing so every tube is the same. the 1st tube I got was worthless; she resent me one which was much better. Her product doesn't work for my bottom denture; I had to go with the Cushion Correct seems to be the only thing to work for my bottom. This is my opinion & I have paid/purchased all products I have used!

I just watched the video at www.comfortlining.com and her instructions said to microwave 1/2 cup water for 2 minutes (that water is going to be HOT, not warm ) then heat the tube of comfort lining in that for 5 minutes before applying to dentures. Then I see comments like "I followed directions and heated it for 1 minute in warm water..." I've not tried it myself, although I was about ready to order a tube from her site till I noticed her price had gone up again. Now her price is $25 for plain, $30 for flavored, or buy 3 for $60 and get 4th one free. Probably had to increase price due to replacing tubes for people who complained, who probably didn't, or couldn't, follow directions to start with.

I'm still debating ordering a tube to see for myself. I've been doing my own reline with reline-it, an epoxy type stuff that fills in gaps around my temp dentures till I can get a hard reline done. I'm hoping the last time I used it will last a couple of weeks and they will do a hard reline. On the other hand this product might be perfect for my wife who has a lot of trouble with her (new) lower dentures. She has a very flat lower gum, most likely from not wearing her lowers for 16+ years, so I don't know if this would help her.

This is a buyer beware situation. The maker of the comfort lining has not done what is required by the FDA to market or sell her product. No clinical trials, etc. I've noticed that some of the profiles giving reviews for this product are made the same day as the review and that's all they do. It's very sad that this is going on. To me, it is taking advantage of people. Take a look at the FDA website yourself. Surprisingly, it's a fairly easy site to navigate.

Annie - There are actually several people posting in support of the product from Japan that have only posted about that product, or to give bad reviews of this product. Nothing else, and no, I am not saying you are one of them.

About 24 hours ago I came on here and of the latest 10 or so updated articles at least 7 of them were most recently commented on by people who fit that description. Of the other 3 posts, one was from a new member struggling with new dentures. Not one of the individuals posting comments during that time took a few minutes to post advice for that individual.

So -- if someone has created an account solely to give good reviews for this product (I have noticed 1 person who fits this description) and that is the wrong thing to do, then the ones who have only posted positive views about the product from Japan are also in the wrong.

Everyone has the right to their opinions about any given product. What works for one might not work for another. It seems that this board has been overtaken by this feud and the promotion of the product from Japan. There are very strong assertions being made by people about what will or will not work for someone else. I'm not sure that's a wise position to take. I'd like to see this board get back to what I think it was developed for, a source of information for everyone in any stage of adjusting to dentures.

My comments had absolutely nothing to do with Eric. Only with comfort lining and that situation. Multiple profiles have come on here to give rave reviews for a product that is not FDA compliant. Take a look at the profile for the man who started this thread. He has only posted about this product and to make disparaging comments to people if they don't like said product or they couldn't figure out how to use it. This Jenn has not done anything to get her product FDA compliant so you have no idea whats really in it or if it's genuinely safe. If what another poster is saying is true, she's posting on other message boards to get interest in her product. That is morally and ethically wrong as she is supposed to do those things before marketing and selling her product.

I will keep reminding people that this product is not FDA compliant until either it is or it goes away. I don't want to see people taken advantage of or God forbid, sick or worse.
I am hoping that the FDA shuts down comfort lining until she is compliant.

And no one should be making up fake profiles to promote anything period.

Yes, if people want, they should be helping others with issues that they are having.

I mentioned no names in my post purposely and I certainly didn't mention Eric. He was removed from this board by the admin. Review the profiles of the individuals screaming the loudest about comfort lining and giving rave reviews to the other and you will find that most of them post only about these two products. As for your comment that people should help people if they want, what is this board for? A sales platform or a resource?

My meaning is if people want to help others that is their choice. A lot of people just read comments and don't post a single thing or just ask a question. That is all good. I am not selling a thing but will stand up and say something if something isn't right.

That's true there is no requirement to post anything. I do like to help others when I think I have knowledge that is helpful. And while you aren't selling anything, others are. Personally, I don't think it should be allowed, but that's just my opinion.

I don't support either product. If I need something that my dental professional can't provide I will do my own research and will not click on any link in a board provided by someone whose motives I suspect are for personal gain only. End of story.

Honestly, all of this just wearing me out. I had been in a slow process of getting teeth extracted a bit at a time for lack of money and I just got my immediate denture on the 27th of Jan. 2 weeks ago. All could see on YouTube was comments about a product called Cushion Grip and then i found out it wasn't available anymore so i have read about adhesives etc...this site is set up to help ones, but seems more like a battle ground. If Jenn has a good product i would imagine that it will get approved if it hasn't already. There are definitely some biased accounts. If she isn't a Chemist, or hasnt had a Chemist with her, and hasn't had documentation that the product is safe through proper testing she could be in some serious hot water if someone becomes ill or dies from an allergic reaction if ingredients are not disclosed. I came here for advice and not drama. I hope everyone can successfully get adjusted to their new dentures and be supportive. ..thats what we are here for, isnt it??
