Why they don't make bigger tubes.
I've been using Fixodent plus for 20 years, don't last more than 10 hours
are out there any bigger tubes on sale ?

If it only lasts 10 hours I would suggest another product. I use poligrip stripes. It says to use 3 to make a triangle but they are so good that I use 2 and leave off the 3rd 1 going across. Sometimes i use a small circle of fixodent with the 2 strips. But holy cow those strips work really good. I fell asleep the other day with them in and i didnt need to do anything the next day still working like a charm.

I have tried the Fixodent ultra been using it. The last five six weeks. Works really good for me and I have my upper denture in for 15 to 16 hours a day never have to apply it again.

The link I posted earlier has the Fixodent ultra for $6.25 plus free shipping. I believe there's all kinds of denture adhesives on that website. Hope this helps

Does the Ultra contain Zinc?

Yes it does contain zinc. Adhesive that are zinc free don't work well for me, and I have to add more before meals. I am looking into buying DenSure fit.

There are other brands then denture fit that is overpriced. Secure does work nice but that burn. Comfort lining is a way better option in my opinion and cheaper too than the other liner for the paste one definitely secure or regular Fixodent.

I have found two products that work well for me and stay for days on my dentures!  The cheapest and easiest to get is EZO.  They have packages for uppers and for lowers.  I believe Walmart carries them.  The better one is DinaBase 7, which is something a lot like the Cushion Grip that we all loved.  It can be found online....I bought it when I was visiting Germany.  Somebody smart should be importing it here, but I have only found it online.

If you will google it, you should find it online....might have to be shipped from Germany, etc.  It is a gel adhesive.  It is a small tube, but a little goes a long way.  I wish I had bought a truckload when I was in Europe.  I could be selling it here in the states for less than it costs with shipping from there.  I see online that a lot of places are out of it....Amazon, EBay and so on.  I do hope you can find some to try.

I see it is available in the U.K. online...Ebay, etc.  Not all will ship to the U.S., though, and the shipping cost is probably expensive.

I think it's a usage issue. If it were bigger, harder to use. Dry out. Encourage your usage...i use a ppwder before work and the poligrip zinc free at noght, swapping dentures esch time. Unless they are in so well by morning that they are left it. Then i brush and go.

I went through all of the adhesives , including self at home soft reline.  The one that is most effective is Super Poly Grip.  I avoid any minty kind, they irritate my gums.  I may have to reapply once if that.  Good luck.  They may need readjusted , after 10 years, your gums have to be relined.
