Thanks... I was on the old forum too. I have a full upper denture plate on top and on bottom, I still have my real natural teeth (for now). My bottom teeth are scheduled to get yanked in Jan/Feb of next year.

Anyway, I originally used Super Polygrip and thought it was okay, but then I was inexperienced and didn't know all the various types of adhesive. Super Polygrip was (still is) kind of gooey and slimy and stuff. I found this website and learned about Fixodent, and got a free sample from you all.

Like I mentioned in that video, I did a big test/comparison between the two adhesives and Fixodent won. It holds so incredibly well, that I can now eat normal foods like I used to and most importantly, I can still play my musical instruments. Right now I am trying to get back into clarinet and play my daughter's old clarinet - but then I'm pretty bad at woodwinds. ;)

Howdy! Butch I tried to post but it didn't work so im trying again...i haven't been able to toot my horn (trumpet and flugel horn) for years do to my upper and lower teeth coming out and my anchor teeth for my upper and lower partials eventually had to go. On October 31st 2013 i had my remaining teeth pulled and got both full upper and lower dentures. I came across your youtube video playing your trumpet with a full upper denture using Fixodent. My question to you is, have you ever heard of someone with both full upper and lower dentures playing the trumpet? Since i haven't been able to play for years i literally feel as a huge part of me has died. Please let e know asap. Thanks! Sorry if this posts twice...

Have either of you tried Fixodent powder adhesive. I have heard that it works really well for some people. I am going to try it soon.

Let me know if you try it ~ from what I've seen and heard, some people love it and some people hate it. Same way with the Fixodent vs Poligrip. I want to try all of them and see what works best for me. Everyone is different.
