I am 4 weeks post op & just now starting to have issues with gagging when I insert my upper temp.
Anyone else have this problem later in the process?
I felt so lucky that I did not before.

Christi about a month in I started having that prob but after about a week it just kinda went away. I just kept them in and made myself get used to it. And it just stopped. Every now and then if my denture is really loose it happens but not often and only when its loose.

It started when I began to take it out overnight. Before that I was still sleeping with it in. Now I'm almost afraid to leave it out overnight because I know it's going to gag me when I insert it in the morning!
Feeling pretty frustrated.....
I'm having an "all on 4" done & now I can not wait until my permanent is ready. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

I've started getting a minor one as well, but only when I put them in in the morning.  Not enough to actually gag me, but definitely something thats started fairly recently.  Not sure whats causing it either...

I think mine was cuz as more time goes by and gums shrink more the denture gets loose and is what caused it. I got used to it and I use secure more often and it doesn't happen very much anymore. Every once in a while towards end of the day when denture is loosening up it happens.
